I was going to wait until the start of next year to start OPKing (though I'm not sure there is any point as we DTD every/every other day) but I got upset after AF came on the 30th so I ordered some.

They arrived today so figured I'd try one now just so I could get the hang of using them as I never have before. There was the faintest of lines so does that mean I should keep testing from now until I get a positive result?
I'm only on CD8 now and my cycles usually are 27-29days long.

Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Mine always have a faint line on them regardless.

I would keep testing if I was you, so you can get in the swing of using them.

It should be pretty obvious when it's positive- the test line will be as dark as if not darker than the control line.

Good luck!

Good luck, once I'd used them for 1 cycle I got the hang of it x

Hiya
Noticed we have similar cycles- AF came early in December though- Christmas Day. So I'm on day 11 of my cycle and got first positive OPK today. (Got negative ones yesterday and the day before) me and my Husband Dtd every day/other day too ... Have you had any luck yet? This is my first time ttc. Be nice to know of anyone else in similar position.
Thanks 😊

Hey,

Mrsm87, we have exactly the same cycle. I had AF on christmas day and my OH and i are TTC for the 1st time, but not using opks yet. After seeing that your opk was positive, I'm tempted to dtd tonight aswell, we have been dtd every other day and did so yesterday. Good luck with it :)
