Opinions on new BF Doll!!!

Like some of you girls said.. your daughters pretend they're feeding their dolls, copying you. That's fine.
But a doll that actually makes the 'suckle' sound on a child's breast is a tad sickly for my liking. xxx

Is this a real doll????? Surely not any worse than the one who pees itself! I had one of those, if you leave the water in it too long it pees out mould  x

And I haven't read the whole thread yet, but as much as I don't see any issue with teaching young children that there is more than one way to feed a baby, I don't see any need for a doll specifically designed for that. Children have always imitated everything that adults do, including pretending to breast/bottle feed dolls or toys and I think they should be allowed to use their imaginations rather than being told what to do with the toys that they are given.

I also dislike the dolls that make the squelchy pooing sound like some dolls do, but it does make me laugh...

But it's not teaching them the ins and outs of breast feeding them. Its purely teaching them that breasts are there to nurture, to just for sexual purposes which, as portrayed by the media, alot of teenagers now see them as.

There is a massive decline in mothers of a certain age breast feeding because they dont think their breats should be used to feed and its wierd. Im not saying we should brainwash young children to make them breast feed, but instead inform them that boobs can be used to feed children, just like their mothers might be doing with their younger siblings.

I do find it strange that it seems quite a few people find this strange, if not offensive. I know everyone will look upon things differently, hence why this post is still going, but its so natural that I cant see how it could be offensive.

I had a 'pee-itself' doll.

The day I got it my sister got excited and pushed down on its belly too much and it broke. :( It was a sad sad day.

Tiny tears that was it wasn't it?

That brings back a traumatic Christmas play at primary school. My line was "a doll that wets the bed and cries". I was so embarrassed they changed it

Me and my friends used to make our barbies give birth :oooo: of a fashion

No tiny tears pee'd as well! That was the one my sister broke :( and its true...it was traumatic lol.

My sister had Nappy Rash as well lol. Oh that baby had a sore bum!

Haha, I used to 'give birth' to my doll from under my dress!!

I remember waking up one Xmas morning I think I was 6 so 1975 ( picture the scene lol) anyway my sister &I ran into the living room delighter to see two stripy pushchairs a red one with tiny tears in
And a blue one with some butt ugly doll that didnt do anything, anyway we were both playing with tiny tears and ignoring the ugly doll when my mum.came in and announced that tiny tears was my sisters .. oh the pain, the trauma, I wanted that doll, mine looked like hamble off playschool, and if anyone at all remembers that ill be impressed lmao xxx
