One time is enough? Clomid mentioned

This is my first cycle on clomid. Took it on CD3-7 (100mg) and went on CD12 to check follicles. They found 6 follicles with perfect size, and then did bloodwork to see if I needed the hCG shot. They called me back and on cd13 (at 6pm) I had the shot. The nurse told me to BD the night of the shot, the day after, and then the following day.

We had some issues BD. DH felt pressured and couldnt go. I am sure it was bec he was pressured, so we couldnt do it the same night of the shot, the following day in the morning it couldnt happen as well, but in the afternoon it did (Thanks GOD!)

Today is the following day after the day of the shot. And DH doesnt seem very motivated to do it bec he got really scared and ashamed of what happened and doesnt want to go thru it, though he said we can try.

It never happened to him.. his sex drive is great, but this time it got me scared.

Wanted to know... is it enough to do it once? we did it within the 24hrs after the shot... and I kept my hips on my pillow for about 40min.

I am scared it doesnt work out. I got really crampy after we BD, and today in the morning as well, it hurst on both sides, a lot (it's already 10:20am - March 22)

Any thoughts? I am scared it doesnt work out

awww to your OH, well some people get pregnant on the day they lose their virginity or on the only time they sleep with the father so i'd imagine once may give you a good shot at it.

Hmm I don't know anything about clomid but just wanted to wish you good luck it only takes one sperm as you know! I agree with hippychick, I think you have a good chance!

Hiya

I am also on my first cycle of clomid. Days 2 - 6.

When i went to hosp she said i only had 1 follie, and that's all it would take. She did say to get BD as much as poss. However, I do believe that all it takes is one time to get it right. So try and not stress, and if your DH can then do, but we went through this 'on demand' BD. And it put a lot of strain on us too. Not easy !

Could I ask about the shot. How and where do you have this ?. Is it injection in your arm ?. I think that's coming next
