I would love all of us to get our bfp's this month but like you say, even if it's just one of us that'll be worth it for sure!

Did anyone hear about that so called 'old wives tale' on the news yesterday, I didn't catch it all, it's something to do with every 50 years, the next 2 weeks is the most popular time for women to conceive or something like that? That doesn't really make sense but I'm trying to google it! I just thought is was a nice thought for all of us ladies TTC.....we've hit that 50th year!

Well, I have a day off work today so am spending some quality time with my oh! We might even take my dog (hank) to the beach! It's meant to be all stormy today but nice so far!

aw our little gangs all back together its a shame no-one got their bfps but maybe as been said we are supposed to get it together.

Kelly the advanced cb digi identifies 2 hormones and tells you what days your fertile I don't think its much apart from that. sorry I just got to replying just now but have just finished work and the wifi in there is terrible everytime I go on my phone I cant access anything on my internet.

Zoe Helen you must be gutted I really thought u were gonna get your bfp! im so sorry but like you say onwards and upwards.

Kirsty and Sharon its great to have us all back together your just like my wee family just now as theres some things that hubby just doesn't understand but you ladies do and that's where I can vent my frustration

yeah that would be so worth it if at least someone got their bfp! im with you there. Yeah Kelly that's the advanced ones what pack have you got the 10 or 20? I got the 20 last month that's how ive still got some left and a lovely lady on here who is now pregnant sent me the rest of her sticks because she no longer needs them.

No ive never heard that old wives tale nice to know though x well that's me started round 2 of clomid so ive been teasing DH if we catch this month it will be twins hahahahahaha

I haven't heard that old wives tale either, however given that we are at the beginning of our cycles it kinda gives me hope that next month may well be our month..... Keep the old wives tales coming, I'm getting very interested in them at the moment (our forefathers/foremothers knew more than we give them credit for) i've done the whole doing things 'right' for years and my body seems to hate me for it, so now I'm looking at history and old wives tales hoping something there will do what modern 'knowledge' hasn't.

I'm glad that i'm not alone with my idea, ladies I've got a good feeling for this month ;D

I've only got the pack of 10 as well buy hoping I won't need them all or need them after this cycle, I'm going to try the smep this cycle but with my own twist, so ur meant to bd every other day from cd8 and then start testing ov at cd10 and when u get ur positive bd for 3 day miss day then bd again, I'm going to bd every other day after that aswell and also if want to bd when suppose miss a day then we will but have to make sure we don't miss days when supposed to, xx

I don't think I'd have the stamina for smep!! I made sure we bd'ed last night so know I have a small chance I'm leaving the rest down to when hubs wants to.... ish.... I've been buying loadsa sexy underwear so he may think it's on his terms...... lol. I'd love to join you guys but I'm no where near in sync with you I don't think. But good luck to you all sending my best wishes you get your bfp's soon!

Btw.. My AF is usually between 6 and 8 days does that mean if i want to do smep then I should start a bit later on? Or should I start even if am still on AF?

Eryinera I'm not sure how it would work, but as I never let dh near me during af, I would say miss out day 8 and start on day 10. Howeve smep has a website dedicated to the plan so such questions should be easily answerable.

Eryinera, I agree with Sharon, I had a look at the website and I guess you should maybe start from day 10 unless AF finishes sooner to allow you to start on day 8!

so when is everyone doing their 1st ovulation test? im doing mine on cd10 which is the 12th feb

I'm also feeling more hopeful! I have been doing some research tonight on evening primrose and how it can help a woman produce ewcm! Now that I think back, I ov'd last month but didn't produced hardly any ewcm before ov so maybe that's part of the reason why I didn't get my BFP?! Apparently, you should only take it from cd1ish up to ov but not after so I'm gonna give it a go! Who knows eh?
I'll be doing my first opk on cd10 as well, probably won't get my pos opk until a week after that but at least I shouldn't miss my smiley face! Lol! (Can you tell I'm excited about having smileys this time around?) hehe! Xxx

hahaha me too well ive checked the diary and it took me 6 days to get a flashing smiley, then a further 6 days to get my positive opk.

I really hope this is the month for us x
