right I have just done an experiment, I have heard many women on here say that when they were pregnant they got a positive ovulation test. one women on here said she wasn't sure where abouts in the cycle she was did a ov test and it showed fertile then did a hpt out of curiosity and it was positive.

so I have just done an ov test watch this space..... ha neg ov test that's that theory out the window lol

Gill I've noticed the pos ov test picks up hcg only when a hpt is pos (I know I'm a poas addict) so if u still not got enough to register it won't show. Good news is you're not out yet - she has to show for you to be out.

Hmm I really wanted to disprove that theory about opks but apparently I'm ovulating more so than when I actually ovulate

actually just been looking at your pic eryinera doesn't the test line need to be the same or darker for a positive opk? I would have took that as a neg test.

Not necessarily I did opks when earlier and I'm sure they were negative. Remember opks are not designed to pick up hcg and if you were your hcg would be less than 500 and mine is over 3000 now. Maybe those ladies who do get a pos opk ate further gone? Was there any line at all?

no I have the cb digi so no line it was a blank face however when I ejected the stick there was 2 lines on the stick but that doesn't mean anything as they tell you, you cant read a digi with lines it doesn't work like a normal test, however on saying that last month I looked at all my sticks and my ov stick was 2 really good dark lines.

Im actually feeling pretty down and deflated about tomorrow I just know its gonna be a bfn il never get pregnant I just know it

I can't find the pic but at 12dpo or something I did 2 hpts and 1opk and all were negative I even tried just putting a red filter on and nothing. I'm still very hopeful for you gill. Please don't get down heartened. I'll search my pc for that photo and show you!

you did an opk at 12dpo too? and it was neg but you are pregnant? that gives me some hope that maybe its people who are further along get pos hpts and opks

Ya I was either 11 or 12dpo i remember taking the photo on my slr I my bedroom it took me ages to get the focus! There was a faint line in the opk but it was a clear negative. (Hence why I had a sneeky ciggie at my work meeting)

I was around 15 or 16 dpo I think.

Just checked it was late on 15dpo.

Well I can't wait get a nice bath and go bed in feeling very very poorly today. My throat head ears nose, luckily dtd this am as if I had wait till just before oh went work it would of been a no go, I feel that bad I can't eat, I've not even had me 2 litres water, no rest for the wicked need sort kidys out and uniform for tmoz, how is everyone doing.
