Omg please help!

I had a baby on 26 Feb 2012. 9 days later me and other half got carried away and ended up going too far with no protection. I didn't know I was pregnant with my first for 11 weeks I just thought my change of pill was to blame for no period and painful boobs so I don't know how quickly I can test this time?? I have had 2 days of morning sickness and my boobs hurt but this could be due to feeding my new daughter. Please help could I have fallen so quickly after having a baby? I love my daughter and want another eventually but not this quick, didn't think I would be fertile I keep crying I just want to know if I am or not

Was this the only time you've had unprotected sex.

I'd say that if you are breastfeeding and it was only this one time you had unprotected sex it would be pretty unlikely?

However anything is possible and I am afraid the only way to know for sure is to take a test hun

It can happen Hun. A good friend of mine gave birth and got pregnant again the following month, her second child was born on the same day as her 1st a year later.

Maybe do a FRER tomorrow morning to know for sure xx

To be honest I have no idea?

I would assume that if your body was able to get pregnant then you should get a positive if you are?

I have no idea about hormones left over from having your baby though.

I think itis probalby unlikely,your body also needs to adjust and heal after the pregnancy and that usually akes up to six weeks. I got my first period at 8,5 weeks after my daugther was born. if you are pregnant then I should definetely think aboutif you reall ant this. it is incredibly bad for yr body (and could have bad side effects years later) for not healing and getting pregnant straight away after given birth. usually a period of (at least) 9 months is suggested to not get pregnant again.

I waited six months after a section and so far so good but on the original Poster you should try testing 2 weeks after the sex that's the advice i got given when i had morning after pill x

26 weeks pregnant. Team yellow too hope to find out peanuts sex on 26th march x

If you just so happen to have been ovulating when you had unprotected sex then a test would more than likely show up a positive if you are pregnant. Get a test and you'll know one way or another x

I had my first period 4weeks after my LO was born so it is possible to go back to normal straight away! The only to find out for sure is to test?

You are advised to wait 6 weeks after birth to have sex, to let your body repair and recover.
I think pregnancy would be unlikely and assume you would still have quite a heavy vaginal loss after 9 days.
I think ovulation would be unlikely so soon x

Yes, I have read/heard that your body is quite fertile after a pregnancy or a miscarraige. I know someone who had children a month apart too and one who miscarried at 8 weeks and fell pregnant like the following month. Test 2 weeks after the sex I would say if neg double check a week later just incase! Xxxx

Hey honey.... hope you doing ok.... they say HPT's can even detect residual hCG for up to 6 weeks following a full-term birth.... after that it shouldn't be in your system any more. xxx

My Midwife said your MORE fertile after a baby and i had my period four weeks after so that means a egg was released only two week after labour, my MW also said dont believe BF stops pregnancy because she made that mistake and her kids are only three months apart! xx
