What do people think of the name Oli? I quite like it but would prefer not to use Oliver and then shorten it... What do people think? Would that be a bit strange?

I think it is too short...just to leave Oli.. maybe change it to Ollie...or Olley...or something like this if you do not like Oliver so much.

I would prefer spelline it Ollie like gingerjv. Oli looks a lot like a nickname to me, whereas Ollie could be a name on its own IMO. I see in your signature your son's name is Leo - I think Ollie (or Oli) and Leo sounds great together

Yes it's fine on it's own but Iagree with spelling making it look like a shortening
