So I'm getting a bit miffed at the moment as our princess has decided to kick and punch me loads the last few days and they are really strong now! I can even see my tummy move with them now :)

However, everytime I try and get my OH to have a feel, he never keeps his hand there long enough and even when there is a "hell of a kick" he reckons he didn't feel it :wall2:

Is anyone else having this trouble with their OH's?

I guess i'm just going to have to keep waiting for him to decide that he's going to spend an evening "attatched" to me so to speak so he will finally feel her... xx

haha im almost 32 weeks gone and Demba have still not had a kick! As he dont live here we dont spend that much time together more then cuddles and sleep so i reckon thats why aswell :D
He did try for a while but Noa always stay still when OH is here and i think he have just given up now as it never happends..

aaawww, it's so sad... I just want him to feel a kick or a punch. He gets so excited when I tell him what she's doing etc but it's the patience he lacks then when he does try and feel. It's almost like she hears me say to Rob to have a feel and then she stops for a bit! Madness... xx

lol my OH is a pig sometimes and he gets all arsey about that sort of thing, i can feel the movement but he cant yet, and it stresses him out a bit and he gets quite agitated! x

aaawww that's harsh... give it another few weeks and he "should" be able to feel... xx

noa have kicked OH but never any hard kicks so he reckon he never felt it either.. but on the other hand one night Noa pushed his bum out and Oh was stroking it but he never kicked or anything.. but Oh was then one proud daddy!!

like this.. Noas big bum poking out one morning

aaawww bless him... cannot see pic hun if that's what you attatched? x

My baby is really kicking me, all the time it seems but OH keeps missing it! Everytime he puts his hand on my bump, she goes all quiet and as soon as he takes his hand away, she's kicking again! Grr!

Dont worry - still early days yet, you will get some great big movements as the baby grows a little bigger then he will be able to see them as well as feel them xx

Yup! All day everyday my little man kicks the living daylights out of me! Then as soon as OH gets home he goes all shy :( OH is really annoyed and keeps throwing little tantrums about it, bless him. He never keeps his had there long enoug either though, though LO has kicked really hard a few times he says he never felt a thing... I thought he was just being awkward but it looks like its a man thing!!x

Oh I'm so glad it's not just me that is having these problems! Although it is VERY frustrating! I wish you all good luck with your OH's too with them feeling the LO's! xxx

It took lots of long nights for OH to feel Odhrán kick.. Even when he was kicking RIGHT on his hand he couldn't feel it! In their defence though I don't think they know what they are feeling for iykwim?? Once OH felt it for the first time, he knew what to feel for and I didn't have to say "baby kicked" he just knew :) It takes time, and once he feels your LO kick he will be glued to your tummy :flower: xx

Isn't it always the way Munchkin!

My OH hates the baby moving thing nwhen in me, won't say it but hates it!

So I have to always make him put his hand on tum and hold it there, while he is pulling away , pulling faces ! Men!

No movement yet, so will leave OH alone for a few more weeks peace ...

My husband didn't feel any kicks properly until 23/24 weeks. Until I could see my skin moving there was no way he could feel it.

He kept explaining to me that what I could feel was strong to me but he couldn't feel it.

It's frustrating but give it time.
Emma
