So third time round and I shoukd realise the signs but sadly my last two were induced so my labour was not voluntary! Today I had really low bad scrapping pain on my cervix along with what felt like my waters my pop. All I'm movements and rolls are below my bikini line and I feel as though my cervix might pop. I appreciate it won't but is this perhaps lightening or start of engagement? I don't feel feet Under my ribs as much but my bladder feel fall every 5 minutes and I had the squits all day (sorry for the graphic details) x

This may be a really unhelpful post so I'm sorry it that's the case but I've been in hospital the last 2 weeks and I've been people watching. The amount if people that come to the ward because they're having a preterm labour scare at 31 weeks is uncanny! I don't know what it is about that week but I'm 100% the body must step up a gear making women think something is about I happen or happening. I mentioned it to a midwife and she too agreed hat there is something funny about that week.
So whatever it is that's giving you these pains etc be reassured that from what I've seen over the past couple of weeks it seem to be very normal. Does sound like baby could be engaging from what I've read but I've never experienced it myself!

Anyway, like I sai that's probably really unhelpful but it's definately my theory lol.

I would phone your midwife hun. Everybodys experiences are different and theres no harm in getting checked or getting some advice. Hope all goes well.
