Oh my god whats wrong with me......

I have suddenly got a hell of a urge to CLEAN i hate cleaning and usually leave it until i really have to but i have got a huge burst of energy today so i am going to make the most of it and CLEAN lmao

Well i wouldn't say that nesting has kicked in for me yet but i have just given the bathroom the biggest clean its had in a ling while! The only thing thats stopped me soing the front room as well is the indegestion thats started after bending down to do the bath.

I'm the same - ive never been house proud but all of a sudden ive started cleaning - the kitchen drawers have been emptied, sorted, vacumed AND disinfectanted - OCD has definatey set in

I had this instinct for about half an hour. This like you, is a rarity for me, as I just don't clean! i found the instinct was short lived as I got bored and went back to playing PS3 hopefully it will last a bit longer for you

well today its lasted long enough for me to change all the bins around the house, clean BOTH bathrooms (i hate cleaning bathrooms), do the dishwasher, cleaned the kitchen, wash all the cushion covers, dust the lounge, and clean the kitchen inc the oven

Will start on some more baby washing tomorrow as i have a million clothes to freshen up before bubs comes along

I think i will sleep alot better tonight as i am knackered lmao

i was fine at the time i felt great its when you stop and it catches up on you, i have to admit i do feel really great having a lovely clean house has made me feel alot cheerier for some reason

How comes everyones nesting instict has kicked in while they are pregnant and mine only kicked in today - when baby is 8 days old and I'm supposed to be "recovering" from a c section????? My timing is way off course

I think i'm also getting a bit obsessive with it too I'm moving furniture, washing down paintwork and spent 3 hours just hoovering half the lounge today til OH made me stop... then I resorted to paying the kids to carry on with washing down doors etc. I've spent the rest of the day planning what I'm gonna clean tomorrow! This is NOT normal behaviour for me I can tell ya!
