Off to growth scan :)

As title says we get to see lil Roo in about half an hour for our growth scan. So excited to see him again wonder how much he weighs, I reckon he is a small one still, or at least I'm hoping that anyway xx

Scan was a big disappointment left wanting to cry!! Was in and out the scan in less than 5 mins!! Roo measured all fine, and is under on the growth charts. Weighs in at around 2lbs 7oz at the mo. Only got this info from my notes after leaving though. All they did was measure his head circumference, waist circumference and thigh bone length!! Then quickly took 2 crap pics and sent us on our way!!

Only good thing to come out of it is knowing Roo is growing well and because of how upset I am, my DH is thinking of booking up a 4d scan for us. All I wanted was to see a good profile pic of Roo which we never got at our 20 week scan either!! Xxx

Aw, that's a shame you were left feeling like that kanga, good news that he is measuring fine though! Plus great excuse to get a 4d scan, like becciboo says best money you'll ever spend. You'll get more than just a profile pic! Our DVD is 7 mins long, I still watch it every day.... Love it! Great for bonding too, I feel as if I know my little girl already as when I feel her move I know what she looks like and the faces she may be pulling! X

4d scans are the invention of a god!
We got an 11 minute dvd and i love watching it.
You get to see so much and are in there for about half an hour.
We used Babybond and they were brilliant.

Ah, bless you. I am so glad we had a 4d scan, just so I knew she had everything in the right place etc and could see it myself. Well worth the money id say xx

Well we went to the in laws to show them our piccies, and told them about the crappy time we had and they have given us the £130 for the 4d scan so excited now, just need to figure out when is best to book it up xxx

hey hun thats about right on the weight front as I had mine at 27 weeks and my baby was only just over 2lbs x Also I know how you feel as I never got one single good picture at all from my 20 week one or my last growth scan also they refused to tell me sex x

Hi Kanga, I had mine at 29 weeks which was perfect, I think anything over 31, baby tends to get a bit squashed looking due to lack of space x
