October Mummies!

I'm sorry for all you ladies who are having really bad sickness! I hope it eases up for you soon x
Natalie I'm sorry but I have no idea how temping works!
I'm aaaaalways hungry too, can't stop grazing, even after a big meal! And I have constant nausea but no vommiting
Anyone else's hormones making them irrationally angry!? I'm so snappy and shout, usually I'm so laid back and easy going lol, feel so sorry for my other half!

Yep I am eating like a horse (it’s the only thing that helps with my nausea) and been super moody :talkhand:- my poor oh was very quiet last night - wisely ;)

I went to the doctor today as felt I might have a water infection of some description. I've done my sample but because I'm pregnant he said to start the antibiotics straight away, and if theres no infection I can just stop. He said my blood pressure was perfect which surprised me as I'm having some dizzy spells at times. But if it's ok then that's good. He also said I should get a flu jab - have any of you UK ladies had one?

Yes I had one 3 weeks ago. My doctor booked me in as soon as I told her I was pregnant. Hope you’re feeling better soon.

I had my booking in appointment today! The midwife remembered me from my first. She estimated me at 1st Oct but I still think I’m around the 4th. I’m not going back into work and it feels amazing having the house to myself but instead of napping the obvious thing to do I’ve had to tidy because my house is for sale and I’ve got viewings later! Pft!

Mine said to me I’ll have my flu jab September time because we’re coming to end of flu season now. I’m going to mention it when I go for my midwife appointment in a few weeks time. X

That's what I was thinking, I've got my booking in app a week today so I'll ask her then. Today has just got worse, I've had the worst bad stomach, not sure why but now I'm feeling very tired and sore :(

My booking in is tomorrow! But annoyingly I know they're going to put me about 8 weeks in front of where I really am cuz they will go by LMP :(
Today has been super stressful, my 6 year old told me his head was itching so I looked and he had a couple of bugs! They only went back to school from half term yesterday! I feel traumatised, spent the whole day delousing him and his pillow cases etc. Even got my mum round to check my head, I bet she thought her bug checking days were over lol. All sorted now though!

On the plus side got my 3+ this afternoon!

Oh no! The joys! It’s supposed to mean he’s got clean hair though I think?! ;)

My skin is so dry and itchy. Particularly on my neck which looks awful as it looks as if someone has grabbed me round the neck!

@Natalie8964 - Definitely get the flu jab hun, it isn't worth the risk to you or baby and it known that pregnant women can pick up the flu easier. It doesn't matter that we are coming out of flu season either as you can actually get it at any time. xx

I would also get the flu jab if you can. I didn’t have one until the very end of ‘flu season’ in March with my 1st but they still recommended I had it. Better safe than sorry IMO! X

Thank you Char, I'm going to ask the midwife on Wednesday. Some of them do it themselves apparently, if not I'll get into my doctors for it! Xx

It’s annoying that everyone gives different advice! (Flu jab) I was shocked when I got told to wait. Will also be checking with midwife when I go for first appointment x

I went to my gp a couple of weeks ago and told them I was pregnant and they didnt even mention flu jab. I often struggle to trust my doctors surgery, they aren't very good. I think it's a good idea to ask the midwife! X
