The reason they couldn't see anything on scan because I'm really early my hcg levels are 300 I'm having bloods done again Saturday hopefully it's good news x

Hi there ladies,

I said hello a few weeks back and then disappeared. Sorry about that! I'm back now. I've been finding it hard to believe this pregnancy is real after waiting so long, but now I'm starting to settle into it and searching out some fellow October mums to wait and chat with.

Charlie: I am so unbelievably sorry you went through such a terrifying and horrific ordeal. I can't imagine how frightening that experience must have been. I hope the healing process happens quickly for you.

Hey girls....hope you're all well.

I visited GP last weds to confirm pregnancy and I've been waiting to hear from hospital with an appointment. I'm currently 6w1d....when did you have your booking appt? The letter will be going to my mums address (I'm registered at my mums address with gp) and we haven't told her yet (waiting till 12 weeks) will the envelope have NHS plastered on it??? I know she'll worry and I will end up telling her as I can't lie

I had my booking appointment today and I'm 4 weeks but I'm going with one to one midwives. I think most try and book you in for 8 weeks ish so it gives them time to organise your scan etc x

I went to doctors Tuesday and am waiting for the midwife team to phone me as they contact via phone here to arrange appointments however the scan date comes through the post and does have NHS on it as far as I can remember

Abit of a whirlwind so far for me. I am pregnant with an IUD in place, I've had a scan last Friday that showed nothing but 3 HCG blood tests show my levels are doubling every 48 hours, last HCG was Wednesday at 625, i am alot earlier than 1st anticipated hence the scan and low HCG. I have another scan next Friday to double check where the baby is situated, to rule out ectopic. I 100% feel pregnant now and no symptoms of ectopic so fingers crossed i should be due around 17/10

Well I really don't want to jinx it, but I got 3 positives today and a 2-3 on a digital. so It works out I should be due on the 19th of october!
I really dont want to get my hopes up but YAY!!
After 14 months , this could be it xx

Wow, congrats jo jo and lulla bell!

I've had to tell my boss tonight, it's made it seem real and I hope I haven't jinxed it....but I've got a stinking cold, and I do a physically demanding and stressful job, so he had to know really.
I'm just dying to get past the 8 week point - it all went wrong for me last time in between weeks 7 and 8, which is where I am now! Just think it's a psychological hurdle for me to get over....

Thats a good point, Ill have to tell my work team I guess, As Im a carer and there is a lot of strain and lifting involved!
Hmmmmmmmmmmm, I dont really want to tell them, but Im only in on sunday then I have a week off, So I guess I should just wait and see what happens after a week xxx

I didn't really want to tell anyone either, but I'm in the police, so I need to be able to risk assess each job. Plus the stab vest is not exactly comfy at the best of times...yeah I would try and get through Sunday, then worry about it after your week off.

Oh yeah defiantly you need them to know! Ill take it easy on sunday, luckily its a pretty lazy day! Did you get a early scan because of the complications last time. or can you just ask for one?

I have got my dates through and I will be 9 weeks for booking in appointment then 12 weeks for scan. The appointments came in post in brown envelope and it had the main based maternity hospital sticker on it.
I told my work last week as work at vets so need to watch some of the medication I handle etc and we went through the health and safety forms yesterday.
I am choked with the cold and feel rubbish!

Lulla, yes I got a scan at 6 weeks to rule out another ectopic. I've caved and booked a private one for next week at 8 weeks - I don't trust my body, it didn't pick up on the ectopic last time, so one more scan, and then that's it until 12 weeks! If you have bleeding though, mention it to your doc and they may book you in at 6 weeks to see if it's all ok.

Heather I've got a really bad cold too...I feel rubbish, finished work early last night, but got a night shift tonight! I can deal with the cold, or the pregnancy, just struggling with both at the same time, lol! X

Ah I see, Well I've phoned 111 , they are getting a doctor to call me within the hour. Maybe they will let me have one, as the spotting is a little more then just a few spots xx

No I'm 5-6 weeks, and I'm cramping with loads of fresh blood!
Pretty gutted but at least I know I can get pregnant x
