October 2017 Mummies!

Omg girls I can't cope today with the nausea. Honestly it's terrible. Heather I'm feeling your pain. I can't travel in a car ATM because I feel so ill!!

I am the same, I am incredibly bloated but just feel fat and not that pregnant? I feel like the wait to see the midwife (21st) is a lifetime away so am thinking of booking a reassurance scan, has anyone else had one?

Yes, I had one 2 weeks ago and have another tomorrow because I want a better photo for my mother whom I will tell next week. I pay for them privately but I get a lovely USB and lots of photos

Thanks, do you go to anyone in particular (as in is it a chain)?

They are called first view imaging in fareham, Hampshire. There should be a local private place near you if you Google private ultrasound scan. Let me know how you get on! It's well worth it!

Ooo you must be local then ladybugs I'm from Southampton :-) xx

I am starting to not feel pregnant now...my appetite is finally winding down, and apart from the bloat and the back pain, I'm feeling ok. I'm also a bit worried that this means it has stopped developing. Only 12 days until my 12 week scan - wondering if I should/could squeeze in another reassurance scan, but it's an expensive habit! Mine is called ultrasound direct, £99 for early scan.

I was showing my dog at crufts all day yesterday, so was up at 0330! Was so busy all day i didn't even think about being pregnant, it was actually quite nice to just forget about it for a while....I slept for 12 hours last night so obviously feeling the tiredness, lol!

Aw lea I would take the symptoms disappearing as a good thing especially if you're nearly 12 weeks as I'm sure it's when the placenta starts to take over? Try not to worry and enjoy being nausea free although I know it's hard x

I am feeling exactly the same at the moment.....literally no symptoms. Boobs feel normal, no nausea, I can eat like normal and even drink tea (which I was struggling with for weeks) even the cramps/stretching pains have stopped....I feel completely normal apart from the increased toilet trips! My scan is on the 28th...currently 9w4d......is anyone else experiencing this???

Also, how did your dog get on???? :)

I know it's probably completely natural and I should be thanking my lucky stars I'm starting to feel normal again! Even my bloat has gone down a bit, I've been able to do my jeans up, lol!

She done very well, thanks for asking. She didn't get a place, but she done so well in the ring, and I'm surprised we qualified in the first place!
X

I know exactly how you're feeling Lea and Olivia. I don't feel like my symptoms are enough. However if I get to the scan in 10 days and everything is OK I will feel like I've been really lucky. I've had no scans or real 'proof' yet so keep feeling like I might be having a phantom pregnancy, like a dog. Then I have to put my rational head on and tell myself I am being stupid.

One odd thing for this morning though- I can smell cat litter. The wooden pellet kind and the smell it gives off when crumbled up. I have a cat, but there is no cat litter in the house.

Aww what breed is your dog Lea? You're able to do your jeans up!!! Ahh what a distant memory for me....still got the rather attractive bloat going on. OH is convinced I'm 6 months rather than 9w haha he keeps asking me if I'm sure I would upload a pic but for some reason it always fails :(

On a different note....I decided to start a pregnancy journal! I thought it would be nice to document everything, cravings, feelings etc...it will be nice to look back on :) I'll probably forget to update it regularly haha

Has anyone else started a pregnancy journal?

Ah, I don't have cats where I now. So I don't need to worry about cat litter smells or emptying out the tray :) although my mum is currently looking after my 3 fur babies....OH is allergic :(

Yes I'm near Chichester! What's your due date? Mines just changed to the 19th of October. :-)

How is everyone today?
I had a lovely child free night away at a beautiful hotel last night with my husband. It was really nice!
Although this morning I did wake up feeling like I had a hangover and alcohol didn't pass my lips. I ended up taking a paracetamol later on as the headache wouldn't shift. Feel better now just tired x

Ohhh that's sounds lovely :) we are going away at the end of April!

Have headaches been a regular thing since being pregnant? I noticed I get tend to get them in the evening.

Our thread has gone so quiet again :( don't like the silence...makes me nervous! I think it'll just be me posting soon

Olivia before I knew I was pregnant I would get light headed and dizzy but not sore head.
When I came back home from hotel I ended up going to bed to see if a sleep would shift it but no so I took one paracetamol and that shifted the headache and felt so much better.
Are you going away for a night or more?
I think regarding post ppl just worry I think once we all get our scans and all is well and we can share all our scan photos the posts may pick up more?

Morning all, hope you all had a good weekend, have been googling away at the weekend and I have found a reassurance scan not far away for £45 so am going to book it for later this week, I just feel that if my midwife appointment isn't until next tuesday, who knows how long I will then have to wait for a scan? Am still bloated but my boobs dont hurt half as much as they did, I want the pain to come back just so I can feel like its all ok still? Am so sick of worrying at every pain I get, like last night I rolled over in bed and felt a real horrible pain in my tummy and then convinced myself that was it so barely slept and was constantly going to the loo to check and when I did sleep I had nightmares that it was all going wrong, hate being such a worrier! Hope you are all ok and ready for another week..... 10weeks 2 days

Hey
My boobs are not sore and I didn't get sore boobs last pregnancy either.i don't feel as sick as I have done.i think I am 10wreks today.
I have to get more bloods done next week for diabetes as my mum has diabetes so I get tested. Then 2 weeks time I have my scan.
I have been looking at the gender scans as I did this previously and had my mum and sister and my husbands mum and sister at the private scan so we all found out together if it was a boy and girl. Thinking about doing this again so my little boy can come along also

I was thinking about getting one of them dopplers? So that the kids can listen (all being well) but then a part of me thinks that if I don't hear anything will I have a massive panic?

I got given one last time and to be honest I couldn't really tell what was heart beat and what was just noise lol
