I don't think any of us can tell you whether it's ok or not to do it. If you feel that you want to buy it go for it, it's really up to you :)

I would probably buy it too.

I've been looking at cots, monitors, baby slings... you name it and I'm only 5 weeks! Everytime I see a baby shop or Mothercare store I can't help myself from going in. I know it's only a matter of time before I start buying stuff.

If you do buy it, it might make the next 7-8 months much longer and drawn out for you! Would it be possible to wait a few weeks to see if it's still for sale and maybe buy it then?

Speaking of moses baskets, I'm considering getting a co-sleeping bed instead of a moses basket. Anyone any experience with them? I like the idea of the baby being attached to your bed at arms length. Particularly for breastfeeding.

I co-slept with DS and intend to do so with this baby too. Last time round I couldn't afford a bedside crib, but this time I'm definitely getting one :)

Bedside crib sound like a plan! We'll get one for sure.

Hi, Iv not said much on here so far. We haven't told anyone yet so just me and oh. I'm quite worried this time round as Iv had some bleeding ( no cramps tho) anyway it's settled down now to just a but of brown spotting ( which I have experienced before in my first pregnancy) I'm hoping that it's just belly bean getting comfortable. I haven't booked midwife yet, going to take another test in the morning to reassure myself then I will ring up. No other symptoms for me yet either so that doesn't help my worry despite the fact I had no symptoms last pg either haha!

Good morning! How is everyone doing today? x

All good here.

I'm still symptomless which I'm a bit concerned about, I have sore boobs (wearing a sportsbra today...so nice!) and I'm sleeping better but that's it!

I know it might hit me next week or even the week after and I should be delighted that I'm fine but I do not feel remotely pregnant!

All good here too, 6 weeks today! I feel like time is moving so slowly... I have 9 more days before my OH gets home, and I cannot wait!!! It has little hormonal me in tears every day, thinking he's so far away :(

I'm still really off my food, but not yet at proper nausea. I have to force myself to eat, and only managed half my lunch today before it revolted me. It might be a good thing that I have some excess pounds to start with! Chocolate milk seems to be a winner this time round too, so today I'm sipping on the no added sugar protein enriched version.

Boobs are sore and I'm still really tired. Apart from that and the mild sporadic nausea and the hormonal tears, I have some mild cramping from time to time, so nothing to complain about really.

Yep, I think you are a one lucky lady! But tbh my symptoms are not that strong either; my boobs are sore only at night and I have a very mild nausea. What annoys me tho is the food aversion, I used to love food
Today I also keep getting these random twitches of pain down below, I hope it's the uterus growing x

Petchy, I really get the force-feeding! It takes me forever to eat a small meal and I usually leave half of it on the plate! :shakehead:

Sorry you miss your oh so badly. Another 9 days and he will be with you :hugs:

Glad I'm not the only one! I'm usually a real foodie, but right now I just dont want anything at all! Invited a friend over for supper yesterday, ended up eating just half a bread roll with butter, and drinking half a cup of tea

I really hope so, I've never felt any pain at all before today x
The 12 week scan seems so distant still. And I am not the one for waiting

Hi ladies, can you put me down for the 28th please? At the moment I am having a tiny bit of light bleeding which I am hoping is just the bean snuggling in as I still got a BFP when I double checked yesterday. I will check again later this week to make sure this isn't a chemical but for now, stick me down!

List should be all updated now, if I've missed someone out, please let me know!

Welcome to the newbies! :) There's quite a few of us October Mums now!

KHTW: I think the random twitches are a good sign. I never got this when pg went wrong, but got all manner of weird twinges with my successful time round. I've had a fair bit of sharp pinchy pulling pain again this time.

Urg! Nausea is killer. Just had a little puke in sainsburys as the bakery smell just smelt overwhelmingly strong. Thankfully did it covertly into a muslin cloth I had in my pocket... I used to feel better when I'd eaten but now its just all the damn time.

Getting freaked out for tomorrow's scan. The only "bad" sign I've had was a bit of spotting on the day AF was due, but otherwise its been good including the hcg bloods week 4-5. The worst part is I've made a lame excuse to my partners about needing to be "at the hospital". I'm also acutely aware that last time I had bad news and was on blood thinners that they admitted me straight away, and I have a clinic booked tomorrow afternoon! Stupid thing to worry about, but I lay awake from 5am with all these silly thoughts going through my head.

Good luck tomorrow fliss! Cant wait to hear your news xxx

Twinges are definitely a good sign I would say, although I find them quite worrying at times.

Today I feel horrific. Had hardly any sleep because of over thinking things and my daughter was very very very difficult yesterday. I actually think its easier having a newborn than a two year old! Especially a bright two year old. I do feel lucky so far as apart from extreme tiredness and slight nausea earlier on I have no symptoms again! I should be having another scan tomorrow but they were fully booked so got to wait till next week. Also midwife booked for 3rd March.

Anyone have any feelings on gender yet? Last time I "knew" it was a girl from early on. Im leaning towards boy this time but dont know whether thats cos we have a boys name sorted already lol!

Last time I had a gut feeling it was gonna be a boy. Had a boy's name picked out but no girl's name. Good job it WAS a boy!

This time we have a girl's name picked out, but can't think of ANY nice boy's names. I can't say I have a strong gut feeling so far this time round though...
