Try taking deep breath, it helps me. Of course you are nervous, everything will be fine :hugs:

KH- I know it's horrible isn't it whilst I'm generally feeling positive about everything it seems my subconscious brain wants to terrify me when I'm resting for some reason :( I had to wake myself up about 2am this morning you know when you have to force yourself to sit our of bed for a minute ...so I didn't go back into that dream - I haven't had dreams like this for ages but why now that I'm pregnant.. sorry to hear you are feeling rubbishy hun hopefully it will pass soon xx

Welcome sweetpamii and Bonfire Bride! it's great to see the October thread filling up :)

Best of luck Baby2sky in your scan! I'm sure it'll go really well for you.

Nightmares are horrible, I get them from time to time but it's mostly when I'm very stressed or worried about something. Could it be that being an expectant mum is making you a little anxious but you don't realise it?

I'm freaking out a little about money and how we're going to afford childcare along with everything else. I feel like we're haemorrhaging money these days. Everything is so expensive! And we don't even have a baby yet!

I really don't stress much these days... I am probably too exhausted to think about things like 'is the baby healthy', 'can we afford the baby', 'will I be able to go back to work'. But honestly I've been trying to relax and go with the very annoying yet comforting: what's meant to be, will be. So I really can't explain the nightmares. I blame it all on the hormones! :slap:

Damn hormones, hopefully they settle down soon and you're nightmare-free.

I can't say I'm very good at the 'what will be, will be' mantra. I try to remind myself of it all the time, but saying I should feel one way and then me actually feeling that way are two different things entirely. I'm a worrier by nature, it'll be the ruin of me!

oh dear! well fingers crossed you can soon see your bundle of joy and the worrying will stop... or shrink :)

They really do grow far too quick, but I am enjoying toddlerhood more than babyhood (but then as a baby she was a terrible sleeper, now she's walking, sleeps through no prob!)

How's your LO?

I'm knackered too....

Toddlerhood is great and amusing! Great to see them becoming independant and yep...I'm trying to make the most of the sleep as 9 months down the line it will be completely different!

Oliver is great thanks hun! We've booked to go to the "just for tots" week in Butlins in May so that should be interesting!

Im going to that in june bonfire bride! I went.last year too it was ace!

Woohoo! Got the letter for my 12week scan, 26th March :yay:

41 days, not that I'll be counting

Next Wednesday's scan is starting to "loom", so scared. Can't remember how I handled this wait last time. Each day is feeling so long, partly as I feel so miserably sick now too. Dry heaving seems to strike at random times, and its not terribly good when I'm seeing patients.. did a baby check this morning and nearly started up when he did a poo. Couldn't get the smell out of nose all morning either.

Going to cheer myself up a bit by looking at the Butlins thing...

Oh Flisstebbs! Hopefully it will calm down in 2nd trimester! I'm still symptomless at the moment..I have a super dry mouth so drinking water and decaff constantly! I'm sure the scan will be absolutely fine especially as you're having such strong symptoms! Twinnies perhaps? :D

Yay for scan day KHTW!

xx
