Speaking of chocolate - between yesterday and today I managed to consume a whole galaxy caramel chocolate (and I don't mean the little bar!). Feeling guilty now

2 days until my scan
Still having bad nausea and sickness
My skin looks deathly dreadful lol

I had a really lousy weekend
hubbys aunt suddenly passed away Sunday morning
She was in remission from throat cancer and was doing well
Theyd gone away for the weekend in the caravan
she woke up spewing blood early hours of the morning.... dunno if her heart just gave out or drowned in the blood
Spent a lot of time Sunday and Monday on the M6
Also hit an owl on the drive there and my tooth broke on Monday night
My easter weekend has been shit

But on a more positive note we recorded babies heartbeat yesterday on the doppler
It was about 160bpm
It was lovely
This week just feels bittersweet

Lifes a funny ole thing
You just never know what's around the corner x

Oh MrsS, I'm so sorry to hear about your weekend. I hope your husband's family are doing ok. Her aunt-in-laws death sounds so traumatic. Cancer is such a horrible, horrible disease, I hate it. xx

Hello - I have a new due date of 13th October xx

Turns out it was an artery in her neck / throat just ruptured
So she basically bled out
So awful
The artery was weakened by either the cancer or its treatment
Seemingly the caravan looks like a crime scene
I cant even imagine the horror and pain her husband feels
My heart breaks for him
Hubby didnt expect to be affected as badly as he has been
Hes took the week off work because of it x

Im sad. Of course I am. But I need to pick myself up and look forward to a day where I can eat normally again lol x

So we had our dating scan this morning
The dates matched perfectly as expected!

I didn't manage to drink much in the end up
But it didnt seem to matter really

They done the downs testing measurement which was 1.7mm
And crown to rump baby measured 59.7mm
They were being very lazy lol. Fast asleep in fact! Had to have a wriggle, they gave a big stretch and just rolled onto their side to get comfy again haha
I hope they sleep this well in 6 months time!
