Sharcaz so sorry about your mc in January, keeping everything crossed for you my lovely, I've thought about having a private scan too, would be lovely as I won't have a dating scan until 13 weeks
When would you have your first nhs scan?

Thanks Clover - I'm trying not to dwell on it - I think it's a worry for everyone when they get their bfp! I spoke to dr about it and he was really reassuring so if you ever get concerns don't be afraid to speak about them and get them off your mind

No idea when first scan will be, we move in 2 weeks so Dr said to contact midwife when we move to get first appointment! But a friend didn't get her first scan until 14 weeks due to system being backed up! I can't wait that long!! I want to tell everyone hehe! So we'll see...I've found early scans from 7weeks onwards for £45 they're called reassurance scans! So I might book in when we move to break up the wait! xxx

Hi Girls how's everyone? My friend had saved all her baby stuff including moses basket, car seat , playmat and she wants me to pick it all up today, I'm hoping this doesn't jinx little bub ...I'm 6 weeks tomorrow

Hi Clover, how lovely of your friend. I'm very like you & scared to jinx things too. But as many ladies have said to me on this forum what will be will be & we can't jinx anything. I had my early scan at 7 weeks & it made my heart sing. Next scan (NHS) in 3 weeks. Enjoy every minute & try not to worry.

Hi ladies, hope your all well. I'm so bloated today and my back is in half my sleep is strange too where I'm tired but can't sleep until midnight then I'm awake around 4.30am for bit and then up by 7.30. Stressful!
However i was spotting since day 1, and no one could work out why... but I'm red day with no spotty at 7w 4d. yay!

We went to have a look at baby stuff today!! We didn't buy anything but it was so exciting!! I felt the same Clover - didn't want to Jinx anything but I don't think that's how it works

Also had nausea today on and off in waves of about 10 seconds.

E44girl I'm also not sleeping well! I'm knackered but just can't settle, feel like I wake up every hour! 5wks+2 today

how're everyone else's symptoms??

Morning all!!! Hope you are all ok.

So today I'm 8 weeks - and have woken up with no symptoms whatsoever. My boobs don't really feel tender (they've felt like I've dipped them on fire for weeks now!!), no nausea, no hunger, and slept great (only woke up once for the loo - been going about 3 or 4 times in the night). Trying not keep calm and not worry as symptoms can come and go, but dreading the scan on Tuesday and being told the pregnancy hasn't progressed - it's so hard not to be a worry wort!! X

Oh that's a late appointment Lilalylola, is it a private scan?

I'm not sure if I should have a private scan or just wait till my 12 week dating scan

I had a early scan around 9 weeks with my Lil boy as I was bleeding then still had my dating scan about 13 weeks
It was lovely to see everything was ok so I may pay to have a scan around 8 weeks then I only have a month till my next scan

Is anyone else thinking about private scans?

My sleep has been terrible too. Eating has been a bit off as well. Feel hungry but then I start eating and I just go off it. Strange.

Try not worry millersmisses, Symptoms can disappear. Although I know what u mean. It's nice to have them for reassurance xx

I'm not sure what to do bout a private scan clover. Think il wait n see how the anxiety is.

If I don't have any bleeding and still have symptoms think il wait. It's such a long wait tho.

Got my booking in appt 12th April tho :-D

do you all have this exhaustion hit you to? I am fine getting up in the morning, but when afternoon hits i feel exhausted! Then it goes away and is fully back at 7 after dinner, its not normale tiredness, it feels much worse then that lol

Yes Lilalylola I'm totally the same!!!! On Sunday I noticed it most I went out for tea and I was absolutely exausted felt really ill, but then about 7pm I got a second wind! Most days it hits me about 3 PM
