So me and my partner seperated just before I had my little girl who is now four weeks old. I have been breastfeeding het and doing quite well as I couldn't with my son. If he takes me to court for visitation would I have to stop bfeeding so he could have her?? I don't understand and what if I can't pump will I have to stop? I have no problem with him coming up but he says he does not trust me coming up on his own and only coming up with his parents and I don't feel comfortable being around his parents all the time atm I find it awkward feeding in front of them. If anyone knows anything about this it would be appreciated x

They can't stop stop you from breastfeeding hun. As your part of your childs routine they'd have to agree to everything on your terms. They can't make you do anything you don't want to or that is not in the best interest of the child. As for him seeing your daughter with or without his parents that depends on yourself...is he on the birth certificate? if he is then he can request for his parents to be there if not then he has no rights to your daughter, unless you state otherwise.
If worse case happens courts cannot force you to stop breastfeeding and if you cannot express then they will have to agree that whilst contact takes place that you will be present until such a time when either your able to express or you switch to bottle feeding.
Do not agree to anything you don't want to. remember you are the sole carer of your daughter and she needs you just like your son, and need do whats best for the 3 of you.
explain to your ex that contact can take place but on your terms and if his parents wish to see her then they do excatly what you say as you do not want to be put in a position which your not happy with.
