Not sure about this...

Ok, I confess to being a worrier... Anything that's not right and I don't think is "normal" to do with me and my body, I worry about. But this one has really got me :/

Last year, a few weeks before I found out I was pregnant. I went to see a breast specialist about a "lump" I'd found in my boob. She had a feel and said it was fine and that the only lumps to worry about were ones that were solid and I couldn't push in with my fingers if you get me? Well when I got home I layed down with my arm over my head like she showed me and felt myself... Well... It was solid and I couldn't push it in. But as she'd said it was ok I left it but have never felt particularly reassured.

Since then I've felt it regularly and checked everywhere else, cause like I said... Worrier. But nothing really seemed to change apart from it becoming more tender and painful. But having found out I was pregnant by now. I put it down to that. Well.....

I was checking again this morning and I noticed that whenever I touch it it really does hurt. Around the "lump" and across to under my armpit. Only thing is... I've found another one, almost exactly the same but in the other boob which is much more painful and is still hurting now. It kind of feels like someone's stabbed me with a red hot poker right there if you know what I mean...

It's probably nothing and just be fretting but after my Nan dying of cancer anything like that scares the living s*** outta me...

I don't want to go to the Drs and get referred to the breast clinic again and all that just to be told it's nothing. It makes me feel stupid :/

When I was pregnant I got a lump come up in my armpit and the doctors told me it was a cyst, gave me antibiotics, but it didn't go. Then they told me it's a lymph node, so went to a private clinic for a scan and it was 2 lymph nodes swollenn really big. I also got 1 come up under my tongue and in my jaw!!!

Hormones do mental things.

I was told when I had the armpit ones scanned though that it was common for lymph nodes to swell for years and they might not ever go down but if they get so I can't move them to go back for another scan. The armpit one swells and goes down alllll the time depending on my tiredness levels etc etc, the smallest it ever gets though is the size of a pea!

Try not to worry we are all lumps and bumps, it's the media put the fear of god into us all lol

I got a big lump under my jaw my doctor said the same to me as you it's fine I get others there too and they do hurt but I think most of it is from all the prodding,

lol, the one in my jaw is new, came 2 weeks ago, once I felt it just prodded all day til it got bigger and I was in tears allll day driving my OH nuts lol, left it alone for a day and it went back down to pea size.

Bloody hormones that's all I can say xx

I can deal with hormones.... I fell back asleep for a bit after posting that and had a dream that the "lumps" were hormones having meetings to decide how to 'do their worst' lol..... maybe it was prophecy thanks girls xx

The maddest/weirdest dream I ever had was dreaming I pulled out a bogey that when I looked closely was actually a teeny tiny alien type man thing that was spying on me lol

I have a strange lump thats appeared right by the opening of my foof Apparently its caused by hormones, its mkinda squishy and it moves about x MW checked it and it's ok apparently xx But creepy xx I think if it hurts chick its ok x

On both under arms I've got a lump which has appeared since being preggers. I've put it down to hormones and shaving etc bit sore if u touch about the size of 2 peas. If they dont go when iv had baby then il get checked out xx

I had this when I was 17, I cant remember the exact pain as it was so long ago but it grew and the pain grew worse with it, from the time it first appeared to the agonising end it was only about 1 month so it grew pretty quickly. My parents took me to docs, cant mind much about it but it ended up being cancerous, I had breast cancer and had to get an op to take it out. I'm left with one boob smaller than the other, only ever so slightly but apart from that it hasn't effected my life again, once it came out the cancer came out and it hasn't returned (as far as I know)

But in saying that, please dont panic, as it is very very common to get lumps in boobs and the majority of times it turns out to be a cyst or something similar, they can stick a needle in it and see exactly what it is (which is what I had before my op)

Hi Hun, I've got a lump in my breast, it's mobile e.g. It's not squishy but you can move it from side to side (not that I make a habit of it!!!) my doc called it a breast mouse, freaky I know lol. I went private for a check up and they did an ultra sound scan on it and all was well.
I wouldn't worry about the one that you have and that has been checked but the new one I would get checked out. With lumps you can not be too careful. I'm sure its nothing Hun and all the hormones are making it more painful xxx
