Not met my midwife yet

Hi i am nearly 8 weeks now i had the posetive test confirmed from my nurse over a week ago and was told i would be refered to a midwife and they would be in contact, i am still waiting to hear?? is this right?
also has light bleeding the other night but the emergency doc assured me that there was nothing to worry about that it was quite common??

I saw my midwife at 10 weeks. Maybe u can phone up the doctors to chase up ur appointment xx

i saw mine at 5 weeks. not sure why though.

was red then went to brown but has stopped ( sorry about details)

as the doctor said it was ok, i would think it was implantation bleeding, where the egg implants into the somethingorother (i fail at human biology)

i had some light spotting type thing, and that was implantation bleeding.

if it gets heavier or keeps happening, get it checked out though hun
