Hi

The past couple of days Rudy seems to be feeding less. Is this normal at this stage (6 weeks) for a BF baby? This has also coincided with him sleeping more during the nights (11pm- 5am some nights) He seems fine in himself and is still filling lots of nappies but surely he should be feeding more as he gets older rather than less.

Does anyone know why the feeding is reducing?

Nah its probably that he is now drinking more in each feed so requiring less feeds but is getting the same amount of milk. :) If he is sleeping and producing lots of poopy/wet nappies, then you know he is getting enough.. :)

The size of his tummy has increased so he doesn't need to feed as often. Maybe he is also a more effective feeder if he takes less time.

All normal - enjoy the longer breaks
