So, after finally having my labour induced at 5pm yesterday at 10 days overdue, I was woken up with a bit of discomfort about 12:15.

Went to the loo and the bloody 24 hour pessary fell out, however I've been get fairly regular contractions since then - about 3-5 minutes apart and lasting about a minute.

Just jumping in for a quick bath, see if it ramps things up or eases things off, but fingers crossed it means baby is on his way.

I'll keep you all updated when I can xx

Well, the hot bath worked then. Pretty sure when I sat on the loo just my waters went in a massive gush!!!

Ooh good luck hun, hope it all goes smoothly xx

Oh excellent! Hope things are happening as I'm writing this. Good luck hun!! xx

I was 7cm about 30 minutes ago after my cervix being right back when they inserted the pessary.
Apparently I "need" to be monitored as I was induced and they want a blood sample, but can't find a vein. Xxx

Totally high as a kite on my gas and air btw! Mum says I sound like a drunk.
