Hello everyone please share similar experiences

I am now 33+1. However, my baby has never had a regular pattern. One day he could be moving non stop and the next he just does the odd little movement. I’ve been in so many times for monitoring and scans and growth scans and everything is absolutely fine with him and he is healthy. But despite them reassuring me, I’m still constantly anxious and it’s driving me mad. Especially cos my whole pregnancy I’ve never actually felt pregnant and movements are my only symptom really has anyone else experienced this with movement?? Everyone says baby should have a pattern but my little man doesn’t. He’s not even born yet and I’m constantly worrying myself sick hahaha. Thank you my lovelies x

I never really found my babies had a pattern. I think they scare mums into believing there should be a pattern but as long as you feel movement regularly, you should be fine. If you feel like the baby hasn't moved in a while, drink some fizzy water or even just cold water to see if you get a reaction.
Sometimes when you're moving and walking around, you miss these movements. I wouldn't worry too much about a pattern hun!x

Thank you so much for sharing. It’s just so scary for me. This is my first pregnancy and I don’t know what’s right and what’s not. I just want my little boy to be happy and healthy and I am constantly worrying over it he’s wriggling away now and has the hiccups as I write this haha but he’s been so quiet all day. X

My daughter never had a movement pattern either. If I was worried I’d have a shower or a cold sugary drink and those things would usually get her going. After a while you kind of know if it’s serious or just baby being lazy. My daughter was induced due to lack of movement at 39+2 and that morning she didn’t move at all from 7am until midday no matter what I did, so I knew something was off. Trust your gut but don’t stress if you have a quiet day here or there x

I was in at leat 9 times from 28w till 38w with reduced movements. She just didnt move a whole lot! She came at 38w and was perfectly healthy :) x
