We were at the hospital today for a final checkup with the paediatrician because Becky was mildly positive for haemolytic anaemia at birth - basically I'm Rh negative and my body produced antibodies against her blood as she is Rh positive even though it's rare in first pregnancies. She was on a folic acid supplement for a while but thankfully never showed any visible symptoms of anaemia or jaundice.

Was her checkup today, apparently in some babies problems can take a while to show up but he was sooo pleased with her progress and said that she was looking fantastic. She showed no visible signs of jaundice or anaemia so he was happy not to even do a blood test and proceeded to have a conversation with her about what she was getting from Santa :rotfl: Was disappointed when he said "I will see you again" then he smiled and added "but not in hospital".

Woohoo! Just needed to share!
