When Rebecca was born she tested mildly Coombs positive and though she was under the treatment line she had one night of phototherapy. Since we've been home she's had a folic acid supplement to take at 1ml per day.
From day 1 bar one day she has been given her folic acid either straight from the syringe (as shown by the midwife who discharged me) or mixed with a small amount of her formula milk and literally projectile vomited the whole lot and contents of her stomach up within an hour after. The first person I spoke to said it was probably coincidence
.
She tends not to be sick often but things came to a head last night when she had her supplement and it took us 5 hours to get her to keep something down. Phoned the hospital and the most they could offer was to give her it bit-by-bit which is everything we'd been doing.
Anyone got any bright ideas? We've only got 2 days of treatment left anyway.
