Well between the mammoth pooing and feeding sessions tonight I've had a grand total of one hours sleep so far! It's a good job my little lady is so cute, it makes it so much easier staring at her little face! She's dozed off on me now but I'm not holding out much hope of getting her in her basket xxx

Up for first feed. 5 hour stretch!

Morning ladies.. we cluster fed late evening til 12.20am then she slept in the basket till 3am!
Sadly youngest step daughter was then crying about not being able to sleep !!
But so pleased wuth Hannah.
Been feeding virtually ever since with only very short gaps so I'm knackered. As usual.
One major drawback of bf is it has to be me feeding. Hubby just sleeping away...

She's just stopped...so fx for a bit more sleep... Hmm

Oh wait... Spoke too soon, hist wanted to swap sides! Amazes me my body has all this milk. My boobs dont get big or hard like they did when milk came in, she feeds too often!

Omg....!!! Max has just slept from 11pm till 6am!!! I have just got the most sleep I've had since before he was here!! Amazing!!! Was probably just a fluke but I'm feeling very happy right now! There is light at the end of the tunnel yay! Xxxx

The joys of cluster feeding!!

Yes it's annoying about hubby being able to snore his head off next to you whilst you undertake yet another cluster feeding session. And they can sleep through anything!!!

Thought he was gonna have a quick feed, burp and down again. But then vomited over himself. Bugger. So full change of clothes to wake him up fully!!

Omg....!!! Max has just slept from 11pm till 6am!!! I have just got the most sleep I've had since before he was here!! Amazing!!! Was probably just a fluke but I'm feeling very happy right now! There is light at the end of the tunnel yay! Xxxx

Bet that feels good. Don't you just dread looking at the clock when they first wake up. Bet it was a nice surprise to see 6am. Hope it lasts. well jel

Oh paddles it was amazing! I woke and thought what's that light outside... It was day light! I hate the dreaded look at the time.. Especially when it's a lot earlier than u would want! He appears to be falling asleep this feed as per usual so I may get more sleep yet. Check me out! I might celebrate by doing something energetic like finally shaving my legs tomorrow!

Cluster feeding is the worst. My hv told me they're doing it to prepare themselves for a nice long nap, so even though it mostly wasnt true, I told myself that everytime to make me feel better. My oh always accidentally gets woken up when I'm having a super bad night.. I don't want it to go unnoticed! We almost had the "I've been at work convo" today.. We were bickering about who's turn it was to make tea and it was def his and he tried to pull out 'work' but then I pounced so he quickly reeled it in. Cheek!!! Xxx

We had a bad night's sleep. Got E to bed at 9 finally after being moody all evening. I went to bed at 10 as I was knackered. Had a headache, sore throat, cough etc. She woke up at midnight for a feed but after feeding at 3, she started crying. I woke OH so he could take her downstairs. I didn't actually manage to sleep though as I could hear hee crying. He brought her to bed an hour later. She woke at .7:15 & am just feeding her now. Really hope she goes to sleep again afterwards...I'm knackered & still feel ill.

Oh no with the vomiting paddles...I guess I have all to look forward to! Only seen a tiny bit of milky sick. So far. Hannah doesn't like to waste any. Ha.

I hope you feel better soon SophieJane, sounds like a crappy night.

I''ve just been feeding...AGAIN. but she latched on without a nipple shield for the first time at home! Woo! She's now fallen asleep mid feed...we sometimes both do that at night.

Well since H was woke from his surgery he has fed every 90mins without fail. I'm obviously grateful he's doing so well but I'm exhausted! I've probably had 8 hours sleep since Wednesday morning

Hehe. Shave your legs, you go girl. We are so rock n roll now!! I love accidentally waking my husband up overnight.
And ever since I went back to work with my first and DH had to look after her for the 'mornings' he is fully aware that going to work is much easier! We never have the work convo now.

Happens to us too umbongo, falling asleep mid feed! Can't be helped sometimes. Sleep depravation is the worst. You doing a good job.

You must be utterly exhausted. Is there anyway you can get a break? There is a point you need to rest too ESP after everything that's been going on. X

So glad H is on the men's, SaraLouise. I can't even imagine what you must have been through. Is there any way you can express so you can get a block of sleep in? It's important that you are getting everything you need too, otherwise your milk production might suffer.

That's great news that you managed feeding without nipple shields. Hopefully this is the start of things to come.

E started crying again after her morning feed but OH took her downstairs so I could have a lie in. What a superstar! I need it though to hopefully start to feel better as I've got a triathlon tomorrow. My first since having a baby ... eek! Just a shame I feel ill & the weather is poo.

Well she just fell asleep on the boob, I put her down but she's really stirring now she only fed for 15 min so I bet she's still hungry! Shes slept lots today so I think we may be in for a long night!

Still no poo here, but he seems to be nearly back to normal with feeds. Hoping I get a bit more sleep tonight although these parent beds are like camp beds so uncomfortable! But at least I get to stay with little man x
