Morning. Up for first feed.

Glad you all getting some good stretches tonight. :-)

How did sleeping in her own room go Spin? Any better? X
 
Ugg.. Serena is up again for a feed... put her down at 2.28am. Wakes up at nearly bang on 2hrs later x
 
Eurgh.... Feel like crap. Hannah carried on feeding past 12am. So I changed to lying position and went to sleep... Then she woke me up at 2am for more or cause she'd fallen off. Then I tried to put her in basket at 4am but wouldn't settle, filled nappy and now back feeding. I have spd pain for the first time since birth and tummy ache :-(
Meant to be being picked up at 9am for a sling meet breakfast, dreading it now! Want to postpone but someone is being very kind to offer me s lift. Just worries me as I dont feel great and I'll be there hours as relying on the lift back too :-(
 
Well the girls did amazingly last night! Fed at 7.30, asleep at 8.30, hubbie gave bottle at 11 then slept till 4! Georgia has self settled in her crib and Charlotte has fed and I'm about to put her down but she is so sweet with milk all over her chops that I don't want to!
I'm a happy refreshed mummy!

I think I have the greediest baby ever... George has been awake since 4.15 and has had TWO 4oz bottles?!

He did sleep from 11.30pm until 4.15am which I'm happy about but where is this milk going... fatty! And now he has hiccups and can't settle.... maybe he wants more milk the greedy pig!

Haha don't worry I'd laugh too if it wasn't my oh!

So awake again now after going back off at about 2:45 which isn't too bad. I however have continued to wake up coz of ill boy. I noticed that Max stirs and grunts an awful lot during the night which I must just sleep through! I am an incredibly light sleeper so I'm surprised I don't usually wake..although I guess exhaustion takes over!

How'd the rest of the night go for everyone else? Xx

Harrison ended up sleeping from 9-3.30 & 4.30-8, I'm so happy I could literally cry. I had more sleep last night than I usually have over 2 nights!!

Sounds like an improvement for some, I'm sure ours was a one off! I dream of a straight night, not had that since before I was pregnant with h! Lol! The sleepless nights are definitely the worst bit by far!

First feed was 1am which I was gutted about, second feed was 6.15am so good stretch in between.

Nipples really do toughen up. I remember mine being sore, cracked and bleeding. Now they are fine. It really does get easier. x

I think when they say it only hurts if youre not doing it right is absolute bullshit lol. I rememeber having to sit there and count outloud to try & distract myself from the pain.

No pain atall now so it deffinitely gets better x

Well Hannah finally slept properly from 5.30 until 9.30am. I cancelled my sling meet morning which was a shame but we needed to catch up. Plus my pubic bone was hurting and ny bleeding restarted randomly! Hannah has fed so much in the last 24 hours I woke with melons for breasts and my vest top under my nighty was soaked from top to bottom on one side!!!!
 
Wow some great nights for some! Bex, your milk supply must be fabulous, to be feeding constantly and to leak. I only ever leaked when hubby does the night feed so I go 6h without a feed! Also, good for u being able to sleep while feeding. I cannot get the hang of feeding lying down and the pain would def keep me awake!

First night in own room - no better but no worse then normal. Still up from 2 till 5...monitor is very sensitive lol. Might have to move it away from her a bit! She took a big bottle very quickly abs only took an hour to settle, but then I had to pump off, and keep going back to re settle her so that took a while.

She's very sicky and crying a lot today. Thank goodness hubby was due home this morning, I kept trying to put her down to pump as my boobs were so full but she would just scream! Very hard to rock her cuddle her and express. :eek: she keeps retching and I keep thinking shes been sick but little comes out. Its starting to sound like silent reflux maybe?
Mixed some gaviscon with 1oz and gave it to her, and now she's asleep!

The lying down isn't that easy but just about works and I'd be half dead by now otherwise. The cosleeping is continuing but she still has this cold so no wonder she wants mummy cuddles.

It does sound.a bit like silent reflux spin! May explain a lot.... You are working so so hard with your LO, I really admire you. She's a lucky girl!!

Hannah just had a lovely feed so I just have one side leaking now.... Her poor knee is, wet as it went through a muslin tripled up. What a, waste! I dont know where it all comes from, no wonder I get exhausted.

I wonder if she'll nap more today. I got zero done yesterday. Best jump in tje shower now while she's sleeping! Have a, lovely day everyone. ...it's the weekend, daddy will be here! Yaaaay!
 
One time I got over an oz just from leakage with those things :) x

I was gonna say get some shells. I only for some on weds and they are great. I have the avent ones. There are reo types of shell, one for collecting and one with holes to air your nipples. I've been using them to help my nipples heal :-)
