Oh no Kelly the dreaded "taking downstairs to watch tv"... That's a real sign of no sleep at night acceptance u poor thing. I've not had to do that with Max so far *touches wood* but I remember having to do it loads with my first as he was MUCH worse at night times. Hope he settles

Hi ladies! I'm up for first feed since 10pm! I however still woke up at 3:30 and checked he was ok.. Bloody body clock! This is fantastic sleeps for him! I also heard him sucking on his hand at about 2 am but we both must have fallen back asleep again. He is feeding now though and not looking terribly tired....!
Sorry some of u are having such bad nights ;-( I think we all seem to take it in turns xxx

We've had our best night so far!

I think its because I've moved his nighttime ff from ready made stuff to powder, it seems thicker. He slept from 9-1, then 2-6.45. Can't complain at that!

Oh no, SaraLouise, why do you feel sick? Hows little H coming along?

E had a bath yesterday & was out for the count at 7:30. She was downstairs with us all evening though. Carried her upstairs at 10 & fed her. She's just woken up at 3 for a feed. Fingers crossed she doesn't do her latest trick of waking up in an hour crying ready for the day to start!

I'm not sure, I've been on a no-fat diet as my gallstones have been acting up (they always do when I'm stressed) & it makes me ridiculously hungry, because there is literally fat in EVERYTHING so takes my body a while to get used to it!

He's doing amazingly, you wouldn't even know what's happened unless I told you!

Harrison has been asleep for 2 & a half hours!! Although he was awake all morning so not that suprised, I keep checking him to see if he's stirring but nothing yet. Dunno what to do with myself haha x

Sara jack was like this earlier. I had a little snooze myself but keep waking up to check on him. He went for 3 hrs! But he just had 6oz of milk to make up for it! Hope Harrison and u r ok? Xxx

I jinxed it as he woke just after I posted lol, he took 4.5oz which is a lot for him lol. I should have had a snooze but I had a few chores to do!

Hannah has been feeding further apart for longer today....fx this is a new trend! She's also latching without the shields suddenly!! She couldn't sleep in her basket last night because of her cold. I really hope she can tonight! X

I've done the night feed with expressed milk. I've had to stop putting baby to breast today so I've been expressing all day and giving in a bottle. But now I don't know how to get her to sleep?

Usually she has a really long feed and dozes or falls asleep on the boob. She doesn't do that with a bottle! She's been in her basket for an hour just grunting thrashing and grizzling! Hmmmm.

Yep we've gone for a dummy. Needed some time out and time to look after DD also and he can now settle at times on the dummy. Gives me a plan B anyways. X

We're still going here... Went back to shields as been going 5 hours with a few very short breaks.. so my nipples were getting shredded on.a normal latch! Surely she can't go all night......... X

Good luck with dummy. J is not interested in them most of the time!
Well J been sleeping since 9. Im sooooo tired so off to brd and OH doing first feed. So im hoping for a block of 5 hours. I just know that wont happen! X
