Hey ladies

hope you don't mind another lady joining

DP and I must be out of our minds but we have decided to try for our 4th and final child! I had a scan done on friday that showed a small cyst on my right ovary with what the sonographer called several smaller daughter cysts so I'm rebooked in for a scan in 6weeks.. she did mention something about it could mean I've ovulated recently so I'm not too worried just yet.

I have had two shots of the depo.. my third was due in october and from my previous experience il be here for a while!

mine are 5 4 and 2 (he will be 3 in january) I'm really excited! especially as this time il have a bigger age gap!

well kinda second as I have my angel baby came off the pill in July and caught straight away but miscarried in september, I'm hoping it won't take me to long to catch again!

Sorry to hear that Tina hope you get a super sticky bfp soon X two boys and a girl hoping for another boy lol! Quite like the idea of having only one girl! I fell easily with my daughter as if just had my son.. Took quite a while with my youngest. Xx

Morning ladies, hope ur all well. I am new to this, im ttc for the first time and getting increasingly frustrated 😔. As good as Google is, I think a forum like this where I can get involved my help and give support.

At the moment I feel like I just need a little rant and express my concerns.. Ur views and experience would mean a lot.

So I'm 26, we've been ttc since June and although I didn't expect to conceive straight away it's still bugging me that it's taking this long lol. I've wanted one so bad for a while now that I tell myself it would be Sod's law that I'm that percentage that struggles to conceive or can't at all.. Bit dramatic I know, sorry. But what adds to my worry is the fact I've been on the pill/patch for nearly 13years .. Surely that can't be good on the body? And my mum had 7mc and 1sb between me and my sister.. Can things like that be hereditary??

When we first started to try, we done the whole opk but it just made me clock watch and get impatient and stress so now we're just saying 'it will happen when it happens' but I still get frustrated when my period arrives and I over read everything my body does.. Help!? How do relax about this !?

Sorry for prattling on but I do feel better for writing it down and putting it out there...

Hi Zoe and welcome to PF. It can take a young, healthy couple up to 12-18 months to conceive so you really don't have anything to worry about. I don't know about whether mc's or sb's can be hereditary sorry but someone else might have advice. Good luck with your TTC journey and hope you get a BFP soon x

So I decided to test last night just out of curiosity.. To my surprise last nights and this mornings test both come up pos.. This mornings one seems fainter tho, I'm not sure if it's due to quality of tests (tescos own) but still a line, what do u think? Can u get a false pos? Trying not to be too hopeful as I feel will jinx it lol xx

Yeah that's definitely a BFP, I wouldn't worry too much about this mornings being lighter, could just be the test. X

Zoe, that's a lovely BFP - Congratulations. How far along are you according to your LMP? You can contact the GP anytime I think, here we just self refer to the midwife so it works slightly differently xx

Thank you MrsS15 and crinkles, too good to be true atm. My last Lmp was October 28- Nov 1. I've been told we can self refer too.. Is it easy? Will they double check with another test? Is it too early to refer ? It's my first so I've no clue lol xx

According to your LMP you are 3weeks and 6 days. Still very early so I'd probably wait another couple of days and do another test. Technically your period isn't really late yet so I'd personally wait! I've never self referred so not sure the process, (I waited a week after my positive test as I was only about as far as you when I got a positive - I ended up m/c so never got to phone). I'm sure it's very easy though, you just phone and they'll give you an appointment for around 8 weeks or so. They probably won't test again by that point as they'll then do bloods xx

Congratulations, Zoe. When I callled docs about a positive test, they told me I had to wait until i was 8 weeks before contacting the MW Not sure if its the same everywhere? Hope this helps x
