Hi Ive just found this forum and hoping it will help!!!
Me and my hubby have been having unprotected s** for the last 5 months and nothing! Im quite new to all this and havent got a clue as ive spent years thinking you could get pregenant so easily and didnt want to! Now it has all changed and I cant beleiev how difficult it is!

My main problem is my periods they are very irregular. Over the past 6 months they have been 54 days, 39 days, 30 days, 41 days, 29 days and 44 days. I have bought a packet of the ovulation sticks put how on earth do i predict when i am going to ovulate?? Also this month i was particulary worried as i had quite funny discharge that was a dark brown colour on around 22 days. Sorry too much information I know!!! I have spoke to the doctors about my periods and they say it is nothing to worry about although not about the discharge!
Any advice?

You can try taking Angus cactus tablets they help to regulate ur cycle.
As for ovulating I would start opks from about cd11

hi, welcome!!!

i would go to the doc just for a general check up regarding your cycle lengths - to rule out endo, pcos etc. If i was you I would also start charting to become aware of your cycles, to see if you are actually ovulating etc. Doing this is conjunction with OPKs is really usefull.

5 months is not really a long time to ttc so do not worry - can I ask how old you are?

I agree I would go to the doctor and have a general check up, they might be able to help with your cycles!

I know what you mean about ttc its a mind field, I did not have a clue until I started trying. I am sure they mislead me at school on purpose making me believe that thinking about sex would get me pregnant!
