Newbie + 1st time mum

Hi everyone!

So I'm new here and thought I'd say hello. I'm pregnant with our 1st, we were TTC and it happened quite quickly for us - which we are both very grateful for. We were expecting it to take years, as I had been on the pill for 10 years and had read it can take a very, very long time.

I'm 8+4, so a long way to go until we're passed the first 12 weeks. Very nervous about these first 12 weeks, especially as we found out so early (5 weeks). Joined the forum to get advice, share my experience and hopefully make some new mummy friends! This forum was actually recommended to me by a friend who found it invaluable when she was expecting, I'm hoping it will be for me too!

Your friend is right this forum is great for advice on almost everything u can think of to do with pregnancy!
In the Tri 1 section theres a thread for Jan 2016 mums to be - have a look in here if u havent already. I assume u are due Jan time? X

Yes, due early January and have said hello in that thread! I'm so excited to start a new year in such an exciting way! Also kind of glad I won't be heavily pregnant in the summer!

Hi MummyBee! Thank you Yes it definitely seems a very supportive forum - I've been having a look around the different boards today and it seems fab!

I don't have many 'female figures' in my life, so very few people in real life I can ask questions. Very glad to have this forum for that reason!
