Heya
Having some mild symptoms. Sore boobs and very tender nipples, and my nipples are huge and stickin out all the time lol. Have had some minor cramps, my boobs are so veiny that they resemble a road map and I've been quite snappy.
Other than that, I'm glorious lol.
My hubby is actually being very patient with me so far too, hope he stays that way lol. Xx

Heya!! I'm going through pretty much the same as Jayjay at the moment and when it comes to food I get ultra hungry, try to eat something and I get completely the opposite not nauseous yet just my appitite vanishing.
Also absolutely shattered by 4pm every day I tend to gonto the gym 4 times a week and I am
Only managing 2/3 because I am that exhausted!!

oh yeah the tiredness is killin me by 3pm. and the nipple thing... yep ive got the same, constant pokey out nips.... plus (tmi) im feelin very very aroused alot lol. cant do anything about it though coz the baby has settled in close to my cervix so im going to refrain until the 12 week mark.

Hehe! Yep sounds about right how do you know that your baby has settled nest your cervix? Yes it's our first pregnancy.... I was just wondering when people were going to tell there bosses? Xx

i recently had an early scan, the consultant said that the baby settled low down in my womb instead of higher/middle area. its still within normal range but the placenta mite cover my cervix as it grows so i mite need a c-section.. im sure everything will be ok tho.
im a stay at home mum (although im very rarely at home lol) my children have a busy life lol. ive told the people i see regularly but not everybody else till our 12 week scan.
ive never had a baby in summer before both my babies came in autum. im wondering what the baby will waer in august? wud a baby grow be to hot? xxx

have you all started looking at prams and cots etc yet? i really want to phil and teds double in red and black, im desperate to start buyin some little outfits in cream but hubby says no... spoil sport lol xx

Well hubby upset me last night, and to make it up to me, he's taking me to Mothercare on Saturday and buying some stuff for the baby. Prob not anything big, just a few lemon/cream outfits or something. We already have 1 baby grow cuz I bought it ages ago and used it to tell him I'm preggers.
We'll prob leave prams/cots and other big stuff until later on in the pregnancy. Xx

Hello everyone,
I'm also new. This is my first pregnancy and I'm quite stressed. I'm 6 weeks and 3 days and happy-worried all at the same time.
Happy to be here with you all and share!
got up in the middle of the night tonight feeling "activity" in my womb, not exactly pain but sort of. It still continues now. Hope it's ok.
I try to eat right but don't really know what to avoid. I'm vegan so I'm not eating a lot of the bad stuff anyway. Is it true that you're not supposed to have warm baths?
Anyway - great to be here! And Hello to all the August ladies!

Welcome.... I'm completely happy worried too!! I think it's in my nature to be worry.
I keep getting twinges in my womb I'm sure it's fine probably just stretching ready for the baby to grow.
Because you are Vegan that takes out the normal risks of blue cheeses and unpasturised dairy products..... I guess the only thing you have to be aware of is washing vegetables throughly and ensuring there is no soil on them.
JayJay..... thats so sweet!! i wish my hubby would be a bit more excited to be honnest, he's upset me alot but has so much going on at work.
In relation to baby 'stuff' apart from clothes I have pretty much picked out the things I would like so that we can budget (I'm an accountant so it's a bad habbit of mine). Got my spreadsheet going .... hubby is pretty last minute so we will probably end up getting everything in the last few months!!

I think men feel a little bit left out until they see the scan and don't really know what to do with us when we become hormonal messes in the first few weeks lol.
I was having terrible pains last night and had to double over and breathe deeply to ease them and hubby was at a loss as to what to do - AND he spent 5 years as a paramedic lol.

Yeah all good now thank you 
It felt like seriously strong period cramps, but really sore. Only lasted 15mins or so though, I'm thinking either muffin was having a growth spurt or my uterus was stretching.

lol, a paramedic that didnt know what to do lol... even runnin you a nice bath would have been something lol,
warm baths are fine. not scorching tho, hot but comfortable is fine. you will notice when ur further along that ur babies will wake up during bath time and will kick around like crazy. meg used to kick the soap which i layed on my tummy. she is actually a fantastic footballer now bless her. lol xxx

Ah I can't wait to have a big bump and see the baby kicking! My mum always said she felt loads of kicks while in the bath, she even said she could see hand and foot prints in her tummy lol. X

thanks hun, them bleeding hormones make us cry at everything lol.. it wont be long before you have lovely memories of your own.. it seems that pregnancy last for ever but when its over you will wonder where the time has gone... and then you will have a tiny baby to feed every 2 hours and change every hour and cuddle all the time and then at around 4 weeks they reward u for all your hard work and smile at u, your heart will never feel the same after that xxx
