need some ideas for the bedroom-cum-nursery!

wondering i you ladies can give me some help please!

we currently rent privately a largish flat that has some serious design issues, and weird room issues, meaning we dont have room for the baby anywhere else other than in with us and i was wondering whether any of you had any ideas for creating a nursery corner of the bedroom, and a way of not dividing it completely but shielding the nursery corner from our part of the bedroom, so that we can have two sort of colour schemes going on...

our room has two huge floor to ceiling windows and the colour scheme for our bedroom (and the kitchen which is divided off from our bedroom) is black and white. however i wanted to add a bit of colour for the baby's area and so have just brought these for the cot:

i was thinking of either making a room screen using 2x4 timber and some sheer fabric or hanging a curtain from the sheer fabric...

does anyone have any ideas that might give me some inspiration, also when would it be appropriate to start setting that area up, am struggling with space to put the sheets, clothes etc and the cot has drawers underneath which would come in handy!

Hiya not sure if this is the kind of thing you are thinking of, but we have just decorated my mum's new beauty salon which hasn't got much room so we have used one of these to divide off different areas. It means that you can have as much or as little visiability as you want by put things onto the shelves. Plus they also do drawers that fit it the open holes so it can also second as storage for baby clothes. Hope you find it useful.

* Forgot to say they do it in black or white so it should fit in with your colour scheme. Also they do it in different sizes.

annoying me cos iwe have the cot (which is in our kitchen atm) and we cant put it up cos ALL Keith's dads stuff is up there!
