Need a bit of help please

Hi ladies
I'm away on holiday at the moment and Af was due 4 days ago. I've been late before and always BFNs.
I didn't bring any pregnancy tests with me as I was certain I wouldn't get a BFP this month, so I only bought OPKs. Can a OPk be used as a pregnancy test?
I'm sure I've read some ladies on here using them.

Anyway I did one this morning and got a positive I think, just not sure if that means a BFP?

Hey hun a opk can be used as a hpt but aren't as reliable a positive opk can indicate pregnancy so looking good! I would do a hpt as soon as u return from hols good luck!

I think I tempted fate, got my AF this afternoon with crippling cramps which are much worse than usual!

So disappointed yet again
