Natural c-section...

Thanks MrSE!

Esp that second link was great, as one of my requests was skin to skin as mostly due to sections I failed to get breastfeeding started each time, and it's my big task this time. Also had good video of breastfeeding explained - thanks lots

That was really interesting, thanx MrsE

Your welcome, With this c-section i want straight skin to skin and want to try breast feeding too, See how it goes in 24 days :s ahh lol

When i saw the midwife at the consultants at 23 weeks, I asked lots of questions about this, and she said after skin to skin, I could even try Breast feeding while still on the op table! we had a good chuckle about how if that happened, my uterus could contract and reduce as it does , while the op team were still at the other end trying to hold it still to stitch it up! was very funny. she said If I managed both before surgery complete she would give me a medal!

I had skin to skin last week during my c section. I forgot to ask before as it was an emergency but they were happy to sort it once she was here xx

My gown was open at the back and she slipped in the front nicely. All the wires were moved from my chest to allow space. My arms weren't numb but my husband did have to shufty her in to place as she is a wiggler!!

I started breastfeeding in recovery as they took her to another room while I was put back together!!

Emma xx
