 Just watching Breakfast and there's a bit on about 'nanny cams'...

What do you think of them?? How would you feel if you found someone filmed YOU watching their child?

Personally, I wouldn't leave my child with someone I didn't trust 100% anyway so I wouldn't feel the need but if I found someone had filmed me secretly I'd feel quite upset :(

i dont think i would, i have to trust ne one who has bray 100% i would however like to see him at nursery wen he dont know i am there, apperently his an a* monkey lol

If I was a nanny and as long as I was told the cams were there, then I would be fine with that. If they were secretive though I wouldnt like that all. They might catch me picking my nose or something lol

If we had a nanny then I would have cams and let them know they are there....at the end of the day it covers the nannies back as much as it gives you reassurance as if there is an accident then you can see exactly what happened instead of automatically suspecting fowl play.

Thats what I was going to say. Its so easy to make acusations regarding children nowadays, I think if I was a nanny I would like the fact that its recorded. It still wouldn't convince me to work with children though.

On the other hand, if I was the mum, why would I want to watch the nannys.. I'd end up pickign holes in things and pointing everything out.. If I had enough time to watch them I might as well mind the kids myself!

i think there would be a good and bad to it !!
i know someone that is watching their daughter and everytime they come home ( at different hours) their daughter is crying in her crib . she is not much younger then Kadyn and is crawling around and can walk furniture ect . she suspects the sitter leaves her in the crib most of the day.
so i suggested to leave a camera in the room and see .
I think in some situations ide put a camera up but at the other side of it you should trust 100% who is watching your children.
I wouldnt mind being recorded while sitting as long as i knew about it .
