Names - thoughts ?

What do you think ??

We are just 17 weeks but seem pretty sorted on boys names at last (it helped that we succumbed to a private gender scan - and we know we're having a boy now) - we were able to concentrate on boys names for the last week or so.

Dexter Alexander

My husband said he disliked Dexter, and preferred Jacob Alexander - which we were pretty set on.. then after our gender scan.. he said he is warming to the idea of Dexter (this was out of the blue).. I'm thrilled as I love it. Love that it's unusual without being weird. I think it sounds cool and strong - everything I was looking for in a name for a boy.

Thoughts ? Be honest... we aren't telling friends and family (they don't even know we had a private gender scan)... so you are my only sounding board...

I don't know many babies but out of the ones I do know two of them are called Jacob, so I prefer dexter! Xx

Jacob is way too popular in schools (round here anyway) at least one in each class, lol. so yeah I like unusual names that you don't hear too often!
