Nail hardener?

Hey girls,

I've finally taken my acrylic nails off in prep for baby. My nails have always been very curly and weak.

although my nails are now short they are a nice shape, but my nail varnish (which was a french polish) has already started to chip 3 days after applied.

So whats the best nail hardener I can buy (in shops or online) that will not let my nails break so easily and will make my nail varnish last for a good few weeks (if thats poss? - am so used to having my acrylics and the paint job lasting for about a month).

I don't want to spend a fortune on products in boots when I know half of them work!

I've never had a nail varnish last a week on natural nails but for hardeners I've found the Sally Hansen ones are really good.
