i know that it isnt going to bak to normal anytime soon, but i was woundering when it is they say you can start sit ups?

also anything else i can to to tone it back abit?

id like to try and help it along a little bit at some point :)
 
If you've had a C-section I think they say 3 months, or is it 6 weeks? Either way, just take it slowly. If you've had a vaginal delivery I think you can start whenever you feel ready :hug:
 
Medically its 6 weesk, but you will know when you feel ready too!
 
thanks ladies. wow thats quite along time isnt it.

i think its to allow the womb to go back behind the pelvic bone isnt it.
 
I think so keslo, but worry about it in a f ew weeks, no one will exoect you to jump into shape that quick hun
 
It's to do with muscles knitting back together - if you do them too early you can permanently damage the muscles :shock: and then you'll never get that flat tummy back (that's my excuse anyway :rotfl: )
 
eek. no exercise for me at the moment then lol.

my belly isnt too bad anyway. i only look about 16weeks pregnant now :lol:
