My sis in hozzie tonight-bleeding**Updated Thursday 17th***

She rang me 20 mins ago, on her way to hozzie. She is losing a lot of blood and is very frightened....

As you all know, her waters went @ 32 weeks and she has been home on anti bitoics for 2 weeks now...she reached 34 weeks on friday

I cant sleep, I am so frightened for her...anyone awake????

Thank you Fran No, I am so scared for her...
She rang me earlier, she has had backache all day, we had both been at a friends sons 1st birthday party and she looked peaky then so we didnt stay long....I rang to check her at 9pm, she was crying as her back was sore and she hadnt felt baby move much today...I said we should go to hozzie to check it out, but she used my doppler and found heartbeat ok, so calmed down abit

I wished we had gone now...I dont pray or believe in God, but I am sitting here now praying and praying that they are both ok

I feel so helpless sitting here...

poor you..i know its hard but try not to work yourself up as its not good for your little one!
perhaps she is in labour...you get a sore back., esp if the baby is back to back! i had a lot of blood when i was in labour! dont worry i'm sure bubba will be fine at this stage look at all the babies in the prem section!!!
i feel so bad for you being at home not knowing whats going on..whos with her to update you??

Her hubby and my mum is on her way there now...her poor hubby is in bits, he is no good in an emergency bless him!!

I have been restless all night, its mad we are so close people think we are twins, so its as though I had an inkling something would happen

I joked today saying the backache could be labour....

many a true thing has been said in jest ..i have a habit of doing it myself!
i cant imagine how you must be feeling hun, and i dont know what to say (i'm so rubbish) i also dont pray to god..but i'll say a prayer for your sis and your niece/nephew too! i hope they update you soon..at least you'll be able to rest easy if you know whats going on!

Thank you Fran, its helped just sharing my fear, my OH is snoring away, told him to stay in bed while I wait for news, no point in us both being knackered in the morning, I dont think I will be in work tomorrow somehow!

I will post through the night as and when I get news, it just helps to write it down, even if no one is awake to listen!!

Thanks for hugs, had a cuppa now too, so feeling a lot calmer...

My LO is kicking away at the mo, s/he is sensing its late and mummys awake, and thinks its great fun!!

hehe i remember that..hayden was a real wriggler..still is! now he just kicks me from the outside instead!

well i'm gonna go to bed sweetie..i really hope everything is ok and i'm coming back on in the morning to check for an update!

Baby girl born by emergency c section about 20 mins ago....dont know anything more as yet as her hubby isntmaking much sense

Sis is still unconcious (sp?), so waiting to hear how she is....

Baby in special care, I want to go to hozzie as I feel so helpless sitting here, but prob wont be any use there either

I am shaking so much my teeth are rattling in my head and my legs are like jelly

Quick update from mum still at hozzie...baby in special care, sis still asleep...her hubby hoping to see baby soon.

When Zena got to hozzie and they examined her, she was 9cm dilated (poor love, now wonder her back ached today). They at first wanted to try and deliver her naturally even though baby was breech but the heartbeat suddenly started racing....they couldnt sit her up incase it pushed baby down any further and she was in pain by then, so they knocked her out and took her straight to theatre.

I cant sleep till I know they are both ok...I cant believe I have a new niece, I cant wait to cuddle her, but most importantly I want to cuddle my sis and tell her how proud I am off her...mum said she was so very brave.

Its been an emotional few hours, if I do sleep I will wake up and think its all been a dream!! xxxx

mum home now, baby weighed around 5lb-mum wasnt sure of weight as it was in kilos..
Baby is in SCBU, but breathing unaided They have put her on anti biotics, and done a lumbar puncture to check for infection as the waters went 2 weeks ago. Poor little thing is quite bruised and battered too apparently

Bro in law has named her Olivia, sis hasnt had her say yet though so that might change!! They have changed names so many times and it was Harriet for a girl up till tonight!! They didnt know the sex

Zena is very poorly, she has lost a lot of blood but was concious when mum was there, in a lot of pain and was wanting to see her daughter, the nurses had taken a piccie which she is clutching and they have promised to wheel her down there as soon as she is feeling better.

I am so very proud of her, and I wont rest until I get to hold her and tell her how proud I am of her, my baby sister is a mommy!!! I am bawling my eyes out with pride/worry/happiness....what a mad night!!
