Awww, how awful, the poor wee thing!! I use to suffer terribly with tonsilitis, it is absolutely horrible. I really feel for him.

well he just woke up from his nap crying and crying. He is getting so frustraited as well he must be hungry/thirst but wont eat or drink, then het gets upset with me pouring water in his mouth. He is also getting so angry at me, like if he tries to pick up his dummy, and I get it for him, he growls, cries and throws it at me shaking his head like Im not supposed to help him, yet he cries for me to help him lol

he is sat next to me now watching me type, his eyes are all droopy, he looks so sad.

Oh and happy bunny I used to get it badly as well, I had to get my tonsills out it got so bad, I hope I havnt passed that on to him!

he has been crying no stop all afternoon. he hates the paste medicine and is heart broken when im rubbing it on (I would be if someone was rubbing my ulcers!) then sticks his tounge out and wipes it off, it took me 30 mins to calm his hysterical crying down and he fell asleep at 6.30, 1.5 hours before bedtime, but I hope he makes it through the night. He keeps crying and whimpering in his sleep.

my mum said when i used to get it, it took about 24 hours for the penacillin to kick in so fingers crossed tomorrow afternoon he may start to peak up

I cried this afternoon when we was, I was so sad and helpless for him. He just looks at me with big blue sad eyes, tears streaming down and bottom lip out, as if he is saying ''help me mummy'' and their is nothing I can do

He is still so ill, Im sooo worn out after no sleep last night and crying all day! his eyes are red raw!

I hope the penacillin starts working soon

Usually the inlaws would as MIL doesnt work but they are on hols and both my folks are working as are all our other familly so no one around although I think im gonna see if mum can take some time off tomorrow to have him for a few hours, we will go up to hers then I can have a rest in my old room lol.

last night was a killer, he went to sleep at 8, woke up at 10 and was still awake at 3am (he has been cryying all this time) he wont sleep cause he wont put his dummy in his mouth, at 3am we came downstairs and watched some numberjacks and lazy town and he finally fell asleep about 4.30 so we went back up got in bed (in spare room) and he slept till 6am at which point from 6-8 (8 was wehn I gave up and got up with him) he dozed for 10 mins, cried for 10 mins etc etc so Ive had about an hours sleep

Anyway he still wouldnt take his dummy so I checked his mouth and his tounge is swollen, and the ulcers had spread and doubled in amount and started to join so we went back to drs and they said the tonsilitus is starting to clear up but the viral infection has turned in to thrush so he now has more meds for that but still wont take his dummy so wont sleep!!

just gonna try and get him to sleep now - wish me luck!
