My mum went with me to my last midwife appointment as she is my 2nd birth partner - the midwife was saying how they will book me in for reflexology sessions and how that will help soften the cervix and my mum says - oh I bet you are relieved as you wont have to try reaching around your bump (she thought the were going to do the perineal massage for me) LOL
