My Heart Rate dropping on Fitbit

My Fitbit resting heart rate pre pregnancy was around 52-55 bpm. Since been pregnant it’s jumped about 10 bpm between 63-67bpm it’s dropped the last two days back to 60bpm. Should I be worried I’m scared something has gone wrong? Anyone has anything similar I know they aren’t the most accurate but it’s freaking me out a bit. Xx

I'm not sure if it means anything. But I do know that if your temping during early pregnancy then measurements can dip back down to normal but it doesn't mean anything is wrong.

So I'm guessing the same can be said for your heart rate? Xx

The exact same thing happened to me!
After a panic and a long search of Dr Google, I read somewhere online that it's something to do with the extra blood volume in your body. Your heart rate goes up rapidly to pump the extra volume around initially but eventually your heart rate gets used to the extra work it's having to do and that's what makes it come back down again.
I don't know if that is definitely a reason why, and if it is, it probably isn't the only reason why but I took my fitbit off for a while because it was worrying me so much.
I'm 10+2 now and I've had a couple of early scans which showed a wee healthy bean growing! My resting heart rate has settled but is still a good 6-8bpm higher than it was prepregnancy
Your body is probably just adapting to the extra stresses pregnancy is putting on it x

Thank you all for the replies it’s reassuring to hear that it’s happened to others its scan day on Friday so hopefully if see heartbeat then I’ll be able to relax and ignore the Fitbit xx

Just to let you know all gone back up again now and stayed up and scan on Friday showed baby growing as it should
