Hi guys

Hope you don't mind me posting in this area. As some of you will remember it took me 4 years to fall pregnant and carry a healthy pregnancy to term having had 3 miscarriages and a couple of chemical pregnancies. I wanted your input as you guys are obviously a lot more technical and scientific because we've learnt the hard way what everything means....more so than perhaps the girlies in the other chat areas...

Well I sorted my hormones out enough to have a baby and he is 9 months old.

I now chart my temperature as a method to not get pregnant as I do not want the artificial hormones in my body from the pill. I'd like another baby but I had serious abdominal muscle separation after having Sam and was advised not to get pregnant for at least a year.

Anyway, my temperatures through me off this month. I thought I ovulated at 14 dpo. Temperatures rose, but not as much as usual. Then crashed for two days at approx. 7 dpo, so I assumed I actually hadn't ovulated.

However, the temp then went back up but not as high as normal. All my old urges to do a pregnancy test set it as ovulation tests were coming out darker than normal at a weird time (although not darker than the other line)

Yesterday, negative pregnancy test on a first response. Fine.

This morning, faintest faintest line. Im not even sure if its a real line.

However, ovulation tests now faint again which has further confused me.

Do you think we are dealing with a chemical pregnancy?

If its not a chemical then really I should be back on aspirin again and possibly progesterone pessaries. But don't want to do this unless I am definitely pregnant.

Pic posted. 10/11 DPO Squint and you would miss it and it took a good 8 minutes or so to come up.

OR - is this an evap? I've never experienced an evap on a first response, has anyone????:wall2:

Thats not an evap ... and to me it looks a very very good line for 10/11dpo i would defo say you are indeed pregnant xx

Thanks Jodie, indeed I have never known an evap on a FRER however this took at least 8 mins to come up.
So I am wondering whether I may have a chemical pregnancy due to the lower than normal temps?
I know I wont really know for another couple of days when I test again.

Clear Blue digi still says not pregnant you see, but not sure how sensitive they are? x

I think its a positive...i would use only frer or superdrug before a missed af date. So would expect a negative on clear blue at this stage.

Congrats..fx line gets stronger amd its sticky

You guys wouldn't be suspicious of the strange temps?

That looks positive to me, I didn't have to squint at all. I don't temp so can't comment but I'm sure they're are other factors that might make your temps squiffy this month xx

I would say the temp dip could be down to implantation ... and a clear blue digi isnt as sensitive as a frer i would say use a digi about a week after a missed af ... i think it says disregard results after 10mins on a frer so its still within the time limit plus the result may have taken a little longer to show as your hcg will only just be in yoir system xx
