In one month alone, I've paid about £200 for tablets for my dogs ear infection. I think this is really dear for Veterinary care in Spain. Is it that bad in the UK??

I also had alot of trouble getting the darn spanish woman to pronouse my dogs name... TUPPENCE. She continues to call her... STUPPELLS lol

Does sound expensive - our dog is on 3 tablets a day (she has had a couple of strokes) and they cost us about 30 pounds a month.

I agree girls. Although what I have to give her is pretty nasty. Ear drops twice a day. A blue tablet once every 12 hours and a brownish table once every 24, and some eye drops once a day! GEEZ I have trouble remembering to take my 1-a-day Vitamin Pill!!! Good job im a SAHM too lol!

Wow that's really steep!!!

My mums cat got herpes in its eye...and nearly lost it all together... The vets here gave him three different eye drops, tablets and some cream.... My parents were looking at getting his eye removed because they couldn't afford the 80€ a month...and that was at the specialist veterinary centre in Murcia.

Try a different vet...she sounds expensive...

(BTW our vet cant pronounce our cats name... its Smegol and Lord of the Rings is popular here, but she stil calls him Smiguel?????)
