Right i thought id make a thread as i've been failing the last couple of days!
ideally i wanted to loose a stone and a half by the 26th of june But i can't see that happening!
Im just controlling what i eat (no chocolate crisps or other Crap) and going for a long walk every day.
i started 2 weeks ago and Weighed 12 stone Im now 11stone 12lb weighing myself every monday
lots of encouragement needed ladies! x
 
Good luck!!! Please kick my butt in gear, I really need to diet but give up after a day :(
 
:yay: Good luck! I started mine 2 weeks ago as well (after an rubbish start) and lost 4lb so far. If you've got time to go to any classes I can't recommend Zumba enough. I felt like I had jelly legs when I left last night.

You've done well losing so just keep going. Even if you lose 1lb a week (I tend to do this) just keep thinking, in 3 months, thats a stone gone. :)
 
a pound a week would keep me happy, i was thinking of giving zumba a go as its just started in town on a tuesday night, i want to fit into my pre pregnancy clothes!! I feel full of willpower at the mo. Chaz join me and we can both weigh ourselves on a monday! x

Can I join you starting on Monday? Hopefully we can motivte each other! I'm planning on stopping all the junk food and going on the xbox kinect loads! I'll weigh myself on Monday (oh dear god) and post my updates then. I have loads to lose though :(

I'm trying to slim down a bit too. Iv just started cycling but I'm finding it soo hard to give up the chocolate and crap...aaargh!
I have no idea how much I weigh but Its got to be about 11- 11 and a half stone.. I was 9 stone before I had my LO (he's 2 now) and I want to try and aim to be about 10- 10 and half stone.
I'll keep checking in on this thread to give support as hopefuly it will motivate me too :)
Ill get myself weighed next time I go to boots..I'v been meaning to do it for ages :/

If it makes you all feel better, I havent given up the chocolate and crap lol, in fact last week I gorged on 2 big bars of galaxy with marshmallows (yes Im a piggy) and still lost 2lb. If you deny yourself something you'll end up faultering quicker :)

Just Weighed myself i haven't lost anything this week, Not a Suprise as i had takeaway pizza sat night and went out for a meal yesterday means i need to work extra hard now x
 
At least you didnt put on :)

If you hadn't had the pizza or meal out you probably would of lost, but in all fairness, I bet the food was nicer!
 
I enjoyed the food at the time But now wish i hadn't had it! Im going to be extra good this week i struggle at weekends though x

good luck everyone. mine starts tomorrow and back on the exervise. I'm also 12 stone and need to lose at least 1 stone, ideally 1 and a half. not feeling very motivaed or confident but gotta do something! My belly is so weird after pregnancy!!

so hows it going?


Despite a few pigging our episodes (baby shower for a mate yesterday and a friends christening today which meant tonnes of cupcakes) I feel have done ok the last week or so. Go my arse down the gym yesterday and today too :) but our gym membership finishes in a few weeks cos we had to cut back on our spending so I'll have to start running. Although thought I might start doing workouts from dvds at home, does anyone have any recomendations for good ones?

Oh and on a very positive note (not sure why I left this til the end) weighed myself at gym scales yesterday and am 11 stone 8lbs! so what's a realistic target?? to be 10 stone 8lbs by Owen's birthday on September 3rd? That's at least 13 weeks away so try and do at least one lb a week?
 
That sounds like a good target Hun, i'll be weighing myself In the morning so will update then i've only got 5 weeks till holiday and want to loose as much as possible by then x

not had a good day myself, lo poorly and i caved in this arvo and had a (massive)bar of dairy milk. nevermind:eh:
