My bumps been offended again!!

One of the temp ladies that I haven't seen in a few months came in today. She was told I was pregnant before coming and when she saw me she said I must only be 2 months or so. She looked surprised when I said I was 18 weeks tomorrow!

Why do people feel the need to comment??!! I would never guess anything like that for fear of causing any offence if i was incorrect!!! Like you said hun, your only petite yourself so that's why your bump is petite I'm sure that it will soon be a whopper!!

I agree with PP, she must know nothing about pregnancies! At two months the baby is the size of a pinky finger! I bet you look just the size your body is supposed to look

i went for lunch with a girl at work today who is also preggers. she keeps getting offended for the same reason. while we were out i bumped into two friends and introduced them to my colleague. they asked my collegaue how far gone she was and when my friends found out they kept saying 'oh my god, ur tiny' i felt soo bad for her!! xxx

People just never mind their own business. It annoys me if I tell someone and they ask and I say I'm 20 weeks they said 'oh really? your small' or 'oh your only early on then' wtf? I'm half way through!! I hate being classed as 'early on' saying this as he's kicking my insides to thier death

I think you've got a lovely bump! Just looked at pic A lady I used to work with got loads of comments about her bump being small and got really upset about it. I never commented, but I never really thought about it at the time. I think some people just don't think. She had a perfect baby and has a fab figure. Hey, more chance of less stretchmarks too surely?

oh the same thing happened to me. I told a girl that I'm pg, she looked at me and said that I must be about 2 months. I was 4.5 months then, and when I told her that, she seemed really surprised. She said she thought I would be huge at 4 months.

I'm sure it's just because people have no idea about how fast the bump grows. I was the same actually. If I thought about a pg girl, I instatntly would have a picture of a girl with a huge bump in my head. I didn't realise that it's only in the last couple of months when you become so big! The only difference is that I wouldn't say anything like that to another girl. But I'm sure those who do mean no harm!

OH aunt keeps saying how quickly Im getting big and have gotteb so big in the past 4 days. I turned around today and said well I am almost halfway so I should hope In getting bigger, thats the general idea!

Try not to worry too much, I didn't get a bump at all til around 7 months with my first, and got really upset with the comments.

i.love I think your spot on - people think you have a massive bump for ages, when in reality, its only at the end. And alot of the time people wont notice a smaller bump, for example if your wearing a cardigan or jacket and a baggy top.

People with their comments drive me insane. Grrrr

You have a gorgous bumpy - Don't worry I was always just the same size, although it's anoying when your late on in pregnancy and people give you no consideration etc for being ready to pop, you will gain in other ways, you should have less to loose after , and find it easier to get figure back, and you will get all those coments afterwardswhen your walking your baby in pushchair like wow you kept that quiet, when were you pregnant, oh I didn't know!

I once was asked to give up my bus seat for a pregnant lady, and I was having baby the next week!! I was so shocked and fed up with it, I did give up my seat, but did make sure they knew when I got off when I was having baby when I saikd good luck to her nicely, tee hee something for her to think about, she was prob only halfway herself , but huge.... Some people are soo funny

JJ loved reading it seem to have had similar experiences (except for this being my first) I had a CVS too.
You were small all the way through! Were you like that with all of them?

Everyone else thanks lady's think I just want to feel pregnant as all my tri 1 symptoms have gone just feel normal no cravings or anything just tiredness. Only really started feeling him properly at the weekend so none of it feels real! And everywhere I go I see these blooming pregnant women and get impatient lol!!!
