my 1st mw appointment

hi all,
well i had my booking in appointment with midwife tooday.
she is actually quite nice and just asked aload of qustions, took a urine sample and sent me for blood tests!!!
she also referred me to a mental health team as i previously suffered from depression!!!!
and i found out i have something called hypermobility syndrome, which i never knew i had, but have apparently had it since birth?!?!
she gave me a whole load of books and leaflets and its quite overwhelming with this being my first pregnancy.

anyways when i asked her the risk of miscarriage at this stage she said once a viable heartbeat is found the risk is only 5%, and this decreases further after 12 weeks!!!
i cant wait to get past the 12 week mark!!!
