Hello,

I've just made a chill out CD for when I go into labour, I was just wondering if anyone else took music to listen to and if it helped, or if anyone else is and what sort.

Em xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

i got all chill out music organised but didnt have time to have it put on - but i dont think i would have taken much notice of it lol

I went with one client once who had 'Bat out of Hell' !!!

Personally I would rather something a little more calming.

we had the radio on whilst i was in labour and the only bit of music i can remeber is gorilaz DARE!!..
sort of stuff in my head whilst sucking on gas ans air!!

If i do stay at home for the birth, then i will be listening to all sorts of music, the baby loves the darkness so i will prob let him pop out ot that lol

but if i go in the birthing center then i have no idea, i wont be taking anything with me so if they have a radio i will have that on

They've got a cd player in the delivery suites at my hospital and DH is keen to make a CD but I don't know what I'd like on there.

My auntie had a mix including Britney Spears - now I definately don't want that!

Vanessa Mae playing "Toccata and Fugue in D" or "Contradanza"

"ode to Joy"

Any of the songs on our Wedding CD like "Addicted to bass" or " Aisha".

Anything and everything really, if they ahve CD players!

Sue
